According to the weather channel, looks like it will be raining a while in Sandusky. I doubt TTD will ever operate with people on it during rain!!! OUCH!! Glad to see her open. Let's hope it is forever!!!! See you next week!!!

How do you know it's not 420'? Did you measure it yourself? Why would the park lie?

In fact, I did. Turns out that the ride is only 145' tall. That's why they'd lie.

glad to see it running, but I hate to disappoint everyone but i have bad luck with coasters and I wont get back to the point until atleast thurs, fri, or sat, so I can assure you if i do get out there it will be broke,

Well, it wasn't supposed to open on the 4th. It was just dumb luck. They only said it's "scheduled to be in operation again this weekend*" but didn't give a day.

I'm not suprised that they would shut it for rain...would you like hitting rain-drops at 120 M.P.H? And people thought rain on Millennium Force was painful...

I wonder how long it will be down this time? Maybe they should just shut it down and test it and test it and test it before opening it, I don't think I'm gonna even bother waiting in line for this thing unless it's running fairly constantly with no breakdowns. I'm not saying close it for the rest of the season but atleast close it until they can test it well enough to maintain a pretty desent uptime. I like their web site though "ride our 67 other rides, including 15 more world class roller coasters" WTF, they have mabe 4 other world class coasters if that, also a good bunch of the 67 other rides are kiddie rides or the Train, or the Turnpike (gotta be a dwarf to fit in one of those cars) or the 2 sets of antique cars. But Atleast the Millennium and Raptor have really broke lately.

Also they need to clean the lenses on their web cams, the bottom one you can hardly see anything, or are they doing that to confuse people?

That's just the same letter they've had up for a while. The date stamp on it changes every day, in case you haven't already noticed that one. Was it taken down over the weekend of the 4th? They did give out slips of paper saying we have it running, but expect that its still going to go down from time to time.

I smell an old troll with a new name.

Maybe it's my age, but I can have fun at ANY park, even those with many less rides than CP. I enjoy the flats. I enjoy the shows. I enjoy just wandering around and people watching. I know of at least two three other parks who have had issues with new coasters, including one who is still having issues 2 years AFTER the ride was installed.

What I don't understand is why people are so bent on dissing CP for Dragster yet ignore the issues with Deja Vu.
