TTD up and running again?!?!?!

Happy 4th of July all...it is about 12:15 p.m. and there is activity on the platform with all the trains being on and ride ops on deck. So CP may have kept there word and it will be up and running today!
Lanch is full, station has cleared, and trains are moving.

TTD is launching.

Trust me everyone, it isn't 420 feet tall.

They're lying.

Of course not! Why, that'd mean that this tree here on the webcam is about 200' tall! Preposterous, I say.

Sorry, Fury, but Dragster is *not* open today. See here.

That report is the one that has been up since they closed the ride. They probably have it up so that they

that was wierd.

The report is probably up so that people don't expect the ride to be up all day long. The whole thing about not being a guarantee.

I really belive it will be running with people before the park closses tonight.

Right now it looks to me as there is a rain delay. I'm think a July 5th opening. Since hopefully now they have more kinks out of the system. I believe that the point will do great with the addition to this ride. Have they really disapointed us? (I'm talking about waits and service) The workers seem always to be on top of things. I hope for a smooth re-opening of ttd and hopefully the crew is great. Well, Until next time. Bye everybody.

I was just thinking next time someone goes to the point and by ttd. Make sure to wave because we'll be watching. Well, Some of us but, yeah.

He's kidding... That was all the speculation before the ride opened.

From the Cleveland.com live video cam (more like time-lapse photo at this bitrate) it looks like TTD has made a lot of successful trips recently, and is, in fact, VERY open.

I would go so far as to say extremely open.

But then again, it may just be a lot of testing w/o peeps.

I can attest that Dragster is running, I was one of the crazy tools that went to the park just to ride that ;). After 2 and a half hours, three break downs, and 10 minutes of sitting on the launch track I finally experienced the launch for the first time since May. *sniff*

Humn, it doesnt look like it open at the moment(5/7/03 at 10.30AM Ohio Time) I'm looking on the webcams and although there is a huge line forming outside dragster, there doesnt seem to be guests in the station, However there does seem to be employees hanging around in the station. Looks like they are just testing it at the momenrt, so lets keep checking later to see if its working :)

I'm very glad to hear its working though, now I'm hoping it can operate till the end of the season when I visit the park again hopefully to take a few rides on it :)

I think the reason Dragster isn't open right now is because of weather. It appears that the skies over Sandusky are getting ready to storm(10:55 AM)

How do you know it's not 420'? Did you measure it yourself? Why would the park lie?
