I was looking at the web cam around 7:15 this morning, and the dragsters on back on the track, so does this mean CP got everything working finally and actually met a date they set for themselves. Only time and people will...lol. Have a great 4th of July all!

There have been two trains on the track for a couple of days now.

Seems they are decorating TTD with some patriotic banners this morning. Lots of vehicles around her to. Would you decorate a ride that was not going to be open?? My fingers are crossed!! This ride is awesome!!! Got 3 spins on her back in May, and I can't wait for more. Please be working!!

Sure looks like some heavy activity going on there. Can't wait to see a launch, which i'm expecting today. Cedar Point has always been one for keeping their promises, and I can almost guarantee you will see TTD back in action today!!!!!

This is potentially great news.

The thing I don't understand is why a coaster will either open this weekend, or not at all. If CP could fix it in a month and a half for the tail end of the season, why not do it?

I'd think that if it does open this weekend, then the damage to the motors was fixable without doing a complete overhaul. If the ride is closed for the rest of the season, they'd mostlikely rebuild the entire launch system from scratch, which would probably take more than acouple months.

If they do close it for the season and rebuild the entire launch system, why not take the time and do it right this time? I could totally see it taking 9 months to get it working perfectly, which would be next season.

That's my guess.

As long as it doesn't fall over I'm happy :)

It's 10:30am at Cedar Point. Dragster did not open with the park.

Yes the OTHER side of the time zone. That's why it's still light out at 10:30 PM ;)

Makes sense.

BTW, it's now nearly 1pm at the park and no sign of the ride operating.

I think we're going to see a launch today. It won't happen until later today though. I believe there shall be one though. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah I'm expecting at least one launch. Tomorrow is the 4th, a Friday, some people consider that the weekend. Maybe it will open.

Haha, haha, haha. I almost forgot to laugh. Geez. Some are wishing for it to be open, some are praying for it to be open, and then there's you. Begging the coaster itself to be open. Sheesh. ;)

The lights are always on until 2 or 3 in the morning then they cut the lights to the big yellow tower...must be a distraction to some or i'd think they would leave them on...but only CP knows the reason!
