What do you think the best wooden coaster at a Six Flags park is?
My vote would have to go to Viper at SFGAm, Although I've never ridden Villian, Roar, or Boss.

Get wrapped in the coils of Viper at SFGAm.

I think the overwhelming consensus would point to either Viper (SFGAm) or Georgia Cyclone (two CI-clones) or Villian. All of them ride very much the same (I assume GaCyclone would be much like Viper) with nice air time and great laterals. Personally, I'm hard pressed to pick between Viper and Villian. I give the slight edge to Villian only because I rode it during fright fest and the fog drifting over the coaste made for nice ambiance.

Out of the Six Flags Woodies I've ridden at three Six Flags, I still have to give the edge to Roar @ SFA, but then I'm biased because I've ridden it over a 100 times. My two runner-ups would be The Villian @ SFWOA and Rolling Thunder @ SFGAdv.
Coastergenius, Twisted Sisters isn't a wooden coaster? What is it made of then, some synthetic fiber?

TECHNICALLY, The Great Escape is a Six Flags park...
So I would have to say the best Woodie would be The Comet at The Great Escape. There's no denying that this is a true classic wooden coaster with nice air-time, smooth track, and a high re-ridablility (ie: you'd wanna do it again!).

The Boss, even though that is the only Six Flags woodie I have ridden. It gives a unique ride, you feel like you are out of control with that speed it gives. If you have never ridden it, I would suggest riding it before you voice any opinions.

I can't beleive no one has brought up the Texas Giant. I think it's a great coaster, and at least should be mentioned. However, I've not ridden many SF woodies. Right now the Giant is my favorite with the Viper at SFGAm a close second. I've never ridden The Boss, Roar, or Villian though.
