Best SIx Flags Woodie

For me, The Boss just beats out the GA Cyclone for best SF woodie. At night, the Boss is just *INSANE*, especially with the block brakes completely off.

My top 5 Six Flags wood coasters are:

1. The Boss
2. GA Cyclone
3. Villain
4. SFGAm Viper
5. SFWoA Big Dipper

Wow, SFWoA has two of my top five woodies! Not bad.

The Phyclone at SFMM is by far the best woodie at any SF park. It is smooth with tons of air.

LOL
NO, actually my two favorite woodies at SF parks go as
1. Georgia Cyclone-it has so much air time!!!!!!!!
2. Roar at SFMW- that coaster is extremely intense and not to mention loads of fun.

Based on visits to SFGAm, SFO, SFStL, SFA... Villian and Big Dipper. (The Boss was too painful.)

Actually it Twisted Sisters is wood. It is all about the TRACK not the supports.

My personal SF woodie favs are Villain and Viper (SFGAm).
I think that Roar wins for the best twisting wood coaster; you have to love all those lateral G's! But the Villian and the Viper (SFGam) come tied into a close second!
LOL, a GCI woodie with laterals? Now that's a good one! :)

The only GCI woodie I rode that hinted at laterals was Gwazi at BGT. The rest I've been on (Hershey Wildcat, Lightning Racer, SFA Roar) don't have anything in that dept, IMO.

If you'd like to know what laterals feel like, take a spin on the Legend at Holiday World at night. Same goes for GhostRider at KBF. Then tell me all about those laterals on Roar! ;)

(The above was not meant as a flame or anything. I respect your opinion, just offering mine, too)

Hmmm.I would pick

#1..The Boss
#2..Villain
#3..Viper
#4..The Big Dipper@SixFlagsOhio
#5..Georgia Cyclone

Hey Legendary, our 5 favorites are the same. Not in the same order though.

no harm done:)
But I really love Roar for it's unpredictablilty. When you have a wooden coaster, and all the movement you can have is up and down and turns, it takes an extra level of creativity to make it unpredictable, and Roar does that for me.

I love the Legend, too! That was unpredictable as well. When a coaster can surprise me, then I like it even more.

You have some pretty good taste in SF wood then!! :)

Riverside Cyclone @ S.F.N.E.
The Villan @ S.F.O(opps, Worlds Of Adventure)
Roar @ S.F.America
Here's my 2 cents worth:

1. Viper - SFGAM
2. Villian - SFWoA
3. American Eagle - SFGAM
4. Big Dipper - SFWoA

The Villain is the best. SFWoA is the only SF park I've been too, but it was SFO.
1)Old Rattler before drop was shortened at SFFT
2)Texas Giant at SFoT
3)Villain at SFWoA
1.- Medusa at SF Mexico
2.- Collosus at SF Magim Mountain

Viper @ SFGAM is the best.

-------------
The Raging Bull #1!!
The Boss at my home park, SFStL. Nice airtime, an out-of-control ride, and an awesome double helix to finish the ride up.
