Are there any new entertainers, or missing entertainers in RCT 2? I have also seen that there still is the spiral slide, and also the Dinghy Slide. What is the new dinghy slide, have not seen any pics of this?

This may have been brought up before also, but I have not seen, Any new colors for the ride enterance paths?

One last question ,, do we have any new ride enterance buildings for the new theming, like we do for space, jungle and the others?

Thank You

I think that there should be ride ops, that come automatically w/ the ride. That would be really cool.

The entertainer costumes are Panda, Tiger, Elephant, Gorilla, Snowman, Knight, Astronaut and Pirate. Didn't there used to be a Roman guy? Maybe I'm not seeing them all.

As far as entrance path colors, I don't remember green being there before. There's also different styles of queue railings.

The dinghy slide thing might be confusing because it's listed under both water rides and roller coasters now. But it's the same one as always.

There was a green path before for a queue line. As for the dinghy slide, why is it located under water rides and then again under roller coasters? Is there a good reason for this, because I don't see any. Not that it really matters, I'm just curious(george!).

One thing I don't like about RCT2 is that you can no longer steadily have the same type of handrails with diff. color queues so if you want a different color queue, you get a different style handrail that doesn't necessarily coincide with the theme of your park.

I see no reason for the dinghy slide to be listed under rollercoasters, either. It may actually be a mistake. They have it listed right before the Water Coaster, though, so maybe not.

With the green queue lines, yes there was a green one already, but i saw a screenshot of a different kind of green.

Really? I didn't see that, neato. Was it like the acid green that they allow you to turn the water or a darker green.

Here's a pic with the new green queue line.

(it's not my website or my pic, I just found it on the net)

I'm just disappointed that you can't choose the two colors, to really customize the queue line colors to your ride theming. I'm always finding I want black, or orange, or purple or brown, or something that just isn't available.

I hope he fixes that in an expansion pack: custom queue color choices.

Yeah, it used to be bright green, didn't it? I thought something looked new/different.

On scenarios that use grass, that dark green path (not the queue path, but the regular foot path) blends in pretty badly. I made a jungle theme area, so I wanted to use the green path, but I ended up putting a fence on both sides of it because I could barely tell where it was.

Yup that is a different green. They really should cusomize the queue color, or maybe you can. I don't know though because I don't have the game yet.

Did anyone else notice that the snow cups ride is actually the scrambler with a new set of images to to rotate and the center rotates the other way? If you watch it you will notice that the peeps follow the same path and it has essentially the same ratings. I found that rather disappointing.

No, you can't customize the queue color. What's really annoying is that they've eliminated so many queue/path choices! They got rid of the old green, and give you this new (cool looking, admittedly) green. But they've taken away the old queues and given you a fixed selection of new ones. You can no longer change the queue color and the railing/support style independently... it's utterly fixed. Red queue equals that "space" metalic railing and supports. UGH! You can't theme queue colors to the ride as easily any more! How ANNOYING. And when you change the queue you're building with, the regular path changes as well -- they're now "linked together" in the tool. How ANNOYING!

What the hell was Chris thinking. IMHO he's completely ruined the path/queue tool. This is one of the bigger of many missteps and disappointments in this game.

I'm trying desperately to undestand WHY you would *remove* features from an *expansion* or a sequel. He removed the ability to make toggle the water between transparent and opaque (it's now always transparent, ugh), remove the ability to toggle grid lines from the keyboard (you can only do it via the options control panel, ugh). He removed the cute noise water made when you built it. He removed queue choices and path choices. He removed cliff-face edge types/choices. What the hell?

Yes, all the added stuff is *GREAT*. I love it. But why REMOVE stuff? Shouldn't he have enhanced it instead? Let you custom choose queue colors, and mix-and-match queue supports and railings?? I don't get it at all... some serious warts on an otherwise very cool game.

Why remove things from an expansion or sequel? Well, a lot of those things you mentioned were in the expansion packs to begin with...would it not make sense to send out a new base unit and then provide additional expansions in the near future? From a marketing standpoint, this would make sense...why give it all out at once for one price when you can put a couple of expansion packs later to keep the game somewhat fresh, new and exciting? Oh and not to mention make a little more money on it as well. :) I'm going to enjoy and learn as much about everything offered in this game first, and I bet just when I thought the game would start to stale out on me there will be an expansion pack to kickstart my love for the game again. Sounds logical to me.
