Funniest Sign?

What was the funniest sign you have ever seen at an amusement park? For me it was the "Rodeo Stampede" sign at SFGAdventure. The sign simply reads "TWO PER COW" If you've ever seen this ride, the sign makes perfect sense, but it still seemed so funny to me! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and still looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

I'm still trying to figure out how to interpret this one...

It's the "so-high" sign for a Zamperla kiddie train at Six Flags St. Louis. Read the height requirement. Now read it again. What does that mean, anyway?

Now thats funny! I guess I need an adult to ride with me since I'm over 54" tall! Any takers?! LOL

The signs I think are funny are the warning signs for coasters that specify that guests of a 'larger proportion' might not be able to ride. They are trying to politely say that if you are a big fat person, you might have trouble fitting in just 1 seat. It is a shame that it has to be an issue but it is somewhat humorous too.

I'd say the sign painter was in a rut. Substitute "child" where it says "adult" in the second line and it makes more sense.

My two favorites:

-Magnum warning sign, just before you enter the station. "Hold on to your glasses" always is scratched out to read, "Hold on to your asses." heh.

-Face/Off. There are two signs in the station. One has an arrow pointing left and says, "Front/back of train." The other has an arrow pointing right and says, "Front/back of train." What?!?

The signs in Europe are so funny. At Holiday Park, while waiting in line for Expedition Ge Force, the sign states that people with no legs or fake legs may not ride! Also, no dogs can ride. I know that seems wierd to us folks in the U.S., but in Europe they allow dogs in the parks. Pretty cool if you ask me, unless the owner doesnt curb his dog..Yuck!

Anyways back on the topic---the pictures are actually very funny also. With people with bad hearts- it has a picture of a heart plugged into a socket. For people with no legs--one guy has two fake legs and the other guy is standing up with one leg and the other missing... For the "husky" type--there is a side view picture of a guy sitting down with an arrow going from his back across to the front of his stomach! There are like 12 different pictures on the sign for Ge Force, what a very funny sign indeed!

I saw a "No Parking" sign that made me laugh once.

The warning sign for Rattler at SF:Fiesta Texas says "...this ride contains steep drops, tight turns, high speeds, and sudden stops...." Sudden stops?!! Seems funny when you are standing in line until you see the brakes before the station....35mph to 0 in 1 second? The train stops so fast that the structure moves about 6 inches forward when the train hits the final brake run. I guess it would be a seriously funny sign.

not a coaster sign, but the Law Dogs place in LA beats them all...."come and eat, and get free legal advice"....for some reason, I was reminded of the old joke about people who love sausages and the law should never watch either being made...;)

SFGAm: Southwest Territory - building with a sign "Wang's Laundry - $6 per pound"

Kennywood - There used to be a "You must be taller than ___ to ride..." sign where the character shared the name of a "marital aid" shall we say.... (The sign was vintage, obviously before the "aid" was given that name!) I last saw it in the mid/late 90's. It's gone now....wish I would have snapped a pic! Too funny!

Law Dogs is a great public service. It's not often I say this but, kudos to the lawyer who own the place. He offers hime time one (or two) nights a week for free ...

I'm sorry, Peabody, but the words "marital aid" are the two funniest words in the English Language. I don't even know what you're talking about, but I've been laughing for about 5 minutes.

Agreed Mark. I did a spit take when I first saw the sign. ("Where am I, Kennywood or the Playboy Mansion?") I was trying to be nice and preserve the family nature of this site in my description.

Come on, Kennywood regulars, help me out here! I know if someone told me about the sign I would probably not believe them! In the 20s it was probably very, very different. Just like my CP postcard from the 1920s that talks about the "gay throngs on the beach:".

I think at Kennywood a while ago, the Log Jammer had I sign that read, "Keep your arms and legs inside the boat at all times. We feed our gators nightly."

OK...I remember a sign for a state park in Kentucky, seen just south of Cincinnati on the interstate: Big Bone Lick Park.
