Funniest Sign?

I love that sign, Bass...made me laugh out loud the first time I saw it.

Wait...nevermind.

When in the station of Twister II at SFEG, you can see 2, maybe 3 signs on the maintance road around the park that say, SPEED LIMIT 19. I thouhgt it was funny, maybe you won't, who knows.

And if you go to almost any SF park, you can find some sort of sign or shirt that says, "Best .... in the World." Aren't they sort of going against their other parks? Maybe I should call and ask which park is best. :)

Yeah, I saw those signs too. And the even funnier part was that there was some idiot on a motorcycle doing wheelies and going about 90.

Twister II also has a sign about not throwing missiles! Disneyland has a 17mph speed limit, I think.

du8die: Thanks for the info... I guess I can't laugh so much now that I know why it's the Bong Recreation Area.

doesn't BGW have a speed limit of 8, or was it 8 1/2...maybe they just take a *reasonable* number of kph, then convert it into miles...;)

On Batman at SFMM the warning sign has these pictures on it and one of them has a guy with an eye patch and a thermometer sticking from the corner of his mouth... well somebody changed it to look like he was smoking... now he looks like a pirate with a cigar.

Also, at the Grand Canyon one of the signs was supposed to say "Shuttle stop" and somebody had scraped off a few letters and wrote one in so it looked like "S*** stop"... I dunno, it was funny at the time

Going back a ways. Richard Bong was a fighter pilot in the south Pacific in World War II. He shot down 40 enemy planes which is the most ever shot down by a US pilot. He was killed after the war in an accident while flying as a test pilot.

I still find the sign that once hung on one of Six Flags Over Texas' Bobs Space Racers games..

The sign read "Danger City Water"

Are they trying to tell the City of Arlington something?

Yeah, they way they word it is very weird, but missiles can mean anything almost.

The exact phrase slips my mind, but after you exit Viper at SFGAm, you pass through a gift shop. There's a sign on the wall that says somthing along the lines of "Wanted: Good Women, must know how to cook, clean and sow." :)

-----------------
Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Sow? Wow I have heard of hogs but that's ridiculous ;)

Anybody ever heard of Dildo, Newfoundland? No joke it's real. Everyyear they have a Dildo Fest. I kid you not. Of course it is named after the town and not the afformentioned "marital aid."

The town is named after a sea captain. Captain Dildo

Man, Freakylick beat me too it about the corn nuts sign on Mind Eraser.

There is yet another corn nuts sign a little further up in the Mind Eraser queue however that's even funnier,it "reads top 10 things to do while waiting in line" now I can't recall the list itself right now but it sure is funny and it definitely made me laugh during my wait in line.

This sign was located in the sation for the Beast

"your asses", I never knew that I have more than one ass.

SFOG's Ninja also has a Corn Nuts "Top Ten Things to Do While Waiting in Line" sign. It starts at #5.

My two favorite coasters are both named Superman.
Nitro, Gemini, Laser, Ice, Thunder...The American Gladiators!

Corn Nuts must have some sort of sponsorship deal going on with some of Vekoma's rides,of course Mind Eraser was originally sponsored by pepsi during the AW days.

I guess SF must've figured out that after a ride aboard Mind Eraser guests usually exit the ride with a pepsi being the furthest thing from their minds, now when I come off of it the first thing on my mind is where can I get some Advil and not where can I get a pepsi LOL!

I'm still trying to figure out how to interpret this one...

It's the "so-high" sign for a Zamperla kiddie train at Six Flags St. Louis. Read the height requirement. Now read it again. What does that mean, anyway?

--Dave Althoff, Jr.

I think that they want guests over 54" to be accompanied by adults because they might try something stupid like get off the train and run beside it. It is quite confusing.

Not exactly in a park but how many people coming to Great America from Wisconsin have seen the sign for the "Bong Recreational Area" ?

Highway 142 between Burlington and HWY 75. It used to be an Air Force base in WWII, but was never completed due to budget cuts. The runways are still somewhat there. Interesting that this site was once considered as a potential host for the EAA fly-in before it found Oshkosh as a permanent home (they also considered Burlington airport, but the farmers put up a fuss). It was named the Richard (Insert middle Initial here) Bong Recreation area. Bong was some kind of WWII fighter pilot hero type of guy. I used to know more... (Our high school teachers had to explain to us that the place was not actually named after drug paraphanelia (sp?)).

Funny, though.

I was Doing a little bong recreation with a friend in my car while my older brother drove and we saw the sign in mid hit and laughed our heads off.

Astrogsp...I have seen those too, but they are usually accompanied by another sign that has #'s 6-10 nearby (or on the back)...
