Intamin track pretty much does insure the Xcelerator type coaster rumor. White and Tan? Different colors for the Point. I doubt they are "primer" colors. MF and WT track arrived already painted.

Apparently there is now red AND white track that has been spotted (with hints from Jeff that blue is to come)... strange.

Very interesting.. I can't wait to see the pictures of this one. Thats amazing that CP is going for another intamin, but I couldn't agree more on that point!

I sure hope that you Pointers can pick up a new Rocket Coaster, as Xcelerator is a lot of fun. If in fact thats what it is, lets hope that it is done the CP way, taller faster and longer!! :)

Well, not if the rumors that SFMM is getting a woodie next year. I read that somewhere last night. (probably here.)

Unless of course SFMM gets that Intamin Wooden Coaster. Of course, the point might claim tallest/fastest coaster in the world for 2003. So, a patriotic themed coaster sounds logical.

joe. SFMM can get all the woodies they want, if they "maintain" it in the fashion of Colossus (bad) and Psyclone (pure hell), they might just as well stick to steel....

If this is, as reported, a 420' coaster, the launch speed is gonna have some serious kick! (I just don't believe that figure until I see something "official").....

2 diffrent colored tracks , 2 diffrent colored supports...have been spotted. maybe this is a dueling rocket coaster ?
