Save Shockwave Campaign?

OK, this was the coaster that made me love coasters.

My guess is that more patrons enjoy Shockwave than Whizzer. Shall we give the "Save Shockwave" campaign a try?

Maybe it would force them to take a good long look at Iron Wolf.

Count me out for any type of petition for Shockwave. I for one am glad to see Shockwave go over the Whizzer.

Save the Shockwave! When is it closing the 11th? I love Viper at SFMM, this ride has to be good, even though many say it's not.

Between Whizzer and Shockwave I say take Shockwave. Between Shockwave and Iron Wolf I say strap some C4 to Iron Wolf and press the button. BUT as i've said before it's all a personal thing. Ride what you like and walk by the rest.

Schwarzkopf classic vs. dime-a-dozen Arrow... Especially since we still have Demon, I'm not going to complain. I think it was time, considering the massive jerk when you sit in the front seat by the braking run... Ouch!

i was thinking the same thing, but it wont work its already started to be dismantled. Shockwaveis slowly dying, i guess no electro shockwave this fright fest

Well, this is useless.

The park has already began dismantling ShockWave anyway. Just yesterday, the entire chain and rolling stock(s) were removed from the track circuit.

There we go...

My favorite SFGAm flat ride which was the unfortunate victim of bad location

Ah...Shock Wave, the Great America tease... looks so big and exciting looming over you in the parking lot... you instantly say "we have to ride that first"... then you do... and you have a massive migrane for the rest of the morning.

Shockwave will most likely wind up somewhere else in the 6 flags family there are other parks without a standard mega looper like SFA and the new Jazzland

Not every ride can or needs to be saved. Why stop progress? No matter what get's removed, people will be pissed off about it. It's a fact of life, amusement companies are not charities, they are there to make money even if it means removing the old to usher in the new.

Whizzer was nice to save, let someone else worry about shockwave. Id like to see it at Lake Compounce though. SFGA always has and always will remove coasters to progress. Isnt that why we lost Rolling thunder(to the great escape), z-force(to sfmm), and tidal wave(to ?)?

Let's use Raging Bull's site for the new attraction! Save Shockwave!

If you took that last remark seriously, I sincerely hope you see a doctor.

If they need to go to the trouble of removing a ride to make space, you just know the ride that will eventually replace it will make you go, 'Shock-what?'

They will send Shockwave to another 6 flags park just as they intended to do with the Whizzer. What park? Who knows, but some other 6 Flags park will get it.

I wonder if they would let me dismantle Shockwave? A little C-4, some beers, and a bbq grill.... Anyone wanna join in my "See YA wouldn't wanna be ya Shockwave! Party?"

Currently the popular rumor is that AstroWorld will get it.

But, I would be more happy if they removed the Demon instead. Its not unique, Great America in Cali has the exact same thing, and Carowinds has Carolina Cyclone, which was based on the Demon, only shorter.
