I've never been hit on but I have a female friend who is not my girlfriend but she is very good looking and at SFGADv when we went together I saw some people looking.

Some guy Working at Johnny Rockets hit on me. He had some wierd name that started with a K. The Funny thing is, he didnt know that my girlfriend was with me (she was using the restroom) and when she came back he got all embarassed.

A couple of times while I was working I was hit on by people.  One of them was only 13 so that was really awkward cause it's hard to tell someone that I am six years older than her.  But every time was fun cause the attention is welcome.  It's not that hard to watch a ride, and a little distraction is nice once in a while.  Plus, it makes a good story.

When I stop getting hit on, by females or males, I'll know it's time to hang it up and go play golf somewhere. ;)

I'm not gay myself, but as they say, "You know you got it like that when the same sex picks up on you!" I take it as a compliment. No need to get offended. It's all in good fun. Then again, I do live in the SF Bay. Maybe people in other parts aren't so receptive.

I wish just about anyone would hit on me, I've only been hit on by my girlfriend.

The other end of this discussion is ride ops who get hit on by patrons. The stories I could tell about my days as Jungle Cruise skipper.........Good Times!

While working as a ride op at Kennywood, I was hit on just about every day. Statements like "Nice tan" or "Nice legs" were very common. I was never insulted by it, rather I viewed it as a compliment. It's a nice ego boost when you're really hot and tired. I would respond by saying "Thanks, hope you enjoy the ride!"

LOL...I never realized this was so prevalent. I do flirt at the PT occasionally, but honestly the guests flirting with me is alot more common. I love it...it makes the day go by faster.

And no, it doesn't affect safety to look at or talk to a cute girl while you're doing your job. I do it every day.

In fact, I have been told to talk to the guests more often to sorta cheer them up from waiting in line. And I just "talk" to people, I dont hit on anyone. Now let me wake up from this dream world and get back to reality:)

I admit it I have hit on a few female guests and have had a few hit on me so it is not a big deal thankfully since I met my g/f I have not looked at another woman.
