How do you say your home park?

Everyone I know in NJ says Great Adventure. That's kind of why people over here also think all Six Flags are all called Great Adventure. In California, do people say "We're going to Magic Mountain, want to come?", or Marine World. I think "Magic Mountain" kind of sounds funny. Maybe cause I rarely say it or when ever it comes up in a conversation, it's used to separate Six Flags Great Adventure from Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Well we say going to Kennywood. But we say we're going to Six Flags and we don't say Worlds of Adventure after it

Where I live (2-2.5 hours from SFOG, near VL) everyone says "I'm going to Six Flags tomorrow." No Over Georgia, just SF.

Well, I live well over 100 miles from the closest Six Flags. Since I figure not everyone I talk to around here will know what "Great America" is, I usually refer to it as "Six Flags". Unless I know they know what's up, then I use Great America.

If were going to Great Escape everyone just calls it GE. But if we goto Six Flags New England we'll just say Six Flags, since its the second closest theme park to us. Darien Lake is aways out there, and SFGAdv is alittle over 3 hours south.

My homepark is SFEG, people usually still say Elitchs even though Six Flags bought it. Some people say Six Flags sometimes though.

I just asked a couple people and they say Six Flags too. Around the physics trip, everyone in my class said Great Adventure. Intresting isn't it.

Well, here in San Diego my friends and I, and most other people here, say Magic Mountain instead of Six Flags Magic Mountain. Thats what most people here are used to calling it.

Here in Cincinnati, we say Kings Island, since it was Kings Island before Paramount bought it. Then again, I could be showing my age.

It does not sound weird to me. I think it sounds better than adding the Six Flags or the Paramount....etc, at the beginning because calling a park "Magic Mountain" or "King's Island" gives it more distinction and a unique sound as oppose to "Six Flags Magic Mountain" or "Paramount's King's Island."

My close coaster friends in the area and I just call it MIA.

However...this topic lets me tell of one of my biggest pet peeves. Soooo many people say it wrong, its so minute, yet it makes me pretty upset sometimes...especially when employees do it. Its not Michigan Adventureland, Michigan Adventure, Michigan Adventures, or Michigan's Adventures..its Michigan's Adventure ;).

SFMW is told as "Marine World" by most people since that's what it's been called even before Six Flags came into place. Some people say Six Flags, but it just confuses people with SFMM.

I just Say Six Flags leaving off the St Louis

A lot of people here still call Six Flags Great America Marriotts. As in "We are gonna go to Marriotts tomorrow." Not many people call it Six Flags, I think the rest of the people who dont call it Marriots call it Great America

I say Magic Mountain and Knott's. I NEVER say Knott's Berry farm...it's just too long! For marine world, I say Six Flags Marine World. Then I also say just Great America for PGA.
