We all call SFGAm Great America or Six Flags. But I really hate when my friends ask if there a Great America in a certian state. I always say it would be a Six Flags, not a Great America. They can't get it right
My wife is one of those that does that. When we went down to SFStl she kept telling her friends that we were going to Great America in Saint Louis

Around Chicago, it is either Six Flags or Great America, but not both. Takes too long to say. ;) My dad always says that: "Is there a Great America in that town?"
me swimdej and rllrcstrdude187 say the parks by their initials. like Sfwoa pki kbf. but we're crazy so it doesnt really matter.

"What am I doing?"
"OoooohwhAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
For me, easy... Hersheypark (no other real way to say it... except for perhaps simply Hershey).
As for Six Flags and what people call it, it all depends on location and the park you are talking about.
Some SF parks lend themselves much more to being referred to as their "subtitle". Places like Six Flags America / New England / St.Louis / Over Texas / Over Georgia, sound awfully dumb/confusing to be referred to with out the Six Flags in front of them ("We're going to America for the day" "Yeah? I thought that is where we are?") Others, such as SF Great Adventure / Elitch Gardens / Astro World / Darien Lake, etc you can get away with out using the Six Flags (here in PA, you say "going to Great Adventure for the day" people will know where you are talking about).
In certain areas you can get away with saying "going to Six Flags." Say "Six Flags" in Philly, people will asume Great Adventure... say Six Flags in D.C. and they will assume Six Flags America. Say Six Flags in York PA... and some people may assume GrAdv while others will assume SFAmerica (we're about 2 hrs from both).
to X Factor: You can get away with using park initials with people who are familiar with those parks, but trying referring to a park by its initials to someone who is not really familiar with them. They will look at you with a big question mark. Come to think of it... even reading these messages I even sometimes have to stop and think what certain initials stand for.

I used to say Great Adventures until one day I read a sign and it said GREAT ADVENTURE_____no so Chris (that's me). I was like WOW, when since was it Great Adventure! That was surprising.

"Wanna go down the park?"
"Lets go to Knoebels and get some fries!"
For me: "I'll see ya later, I'm going to work."
On a few occasions I have also heard: Peggy's Farm and The Grove.

Instead of "Let's go to Disney's California Adventure" I say, "Let's go to California Adventure" or "Let's go to DCA."
Instead of "Let's go to Universal Studios Hollywood" I say, "Let's go to Universal."
Instead of "Let's go to Six Flags Magic Mountain" I say, "Let's go to Knotts." ;)

I have to agree with Moosh here, but I am sad because he doesn't say any of those things to me. ;)
