Zforce at SFoG

I honestly don't count them as two, either...but I'm still not sure if my track record on CBuzz will or will not reflect the same coaster twice, one for each park it resided in when I rode it. After all, my CBuzz record isn't accurate anyway, since it's 3 coasters shy of my true count.

On the other hand, if Jeff deletes Viper @ SFoG once it opens at SFKK, I won't have a choice in the matter...either way, no big deal.

And Bassistist counts the same as us, too.

No I don't! Don't put words in my mouth, he he he!

I count duel-track coasters (recaR, Colossus, etc.) as one, even if the two tracks are very different (Matterhorn, Dueling Dragons). I count each Clone as a seperate count.

However, where I differ from Moosh and Nasai is that I will count a coaster again if it's moved to another park. That has only happened for me once so far, with Corkscrew at Knotts/Silverwood. I have always said (to use Corkscrew for an example) that riding Corkscrew surrounded by Buena Park is one thing, and when it's surrounded by Idaho's woods it's something else. Moosh and I agreed to disagree about that point a long time ago, and we both respect each other's way of counting. Rest assured, none of you will change his mind. ;-)

My apologies Bass. I forgot we did disagree on that point.

Aparently Bass' brainwashing didn't take as well as nasai's.

Bass', do you ride both sides before you add a racer/dueler to your count or do you count in halves? There is still hope for de-programing you. ;)

Where was ZForce located while at SFOG?

No deprogramming needed here! I count any racer/duel-tracked/whatever as soon as I've ridden one side. So, I count Gwazi, Rotting Lumber, recaR, and Twisted Sisters as one, even though I've only ridden half of each. I'll admit it's quirky, but then again I have no problem with being quirky...just ask Moosh!

I think I will go with Moosh's way. I will only count coasters that have been moved one time. I will continue to count dueling coasters as 2 and clones as individual coasters, I only count racers as 1 though. I still would like to see all past and present coasters listed for the parks though even if its just for information purposes. I would also like to see the parks they came from and dates moved listed. This would even help me on the coaster this topic was started with. I thought when ZForce moved it went to SFMM, I didn't know it was at another park before that but thanks to this post I now know better. See how good this information could be if it was documented here at this web site.

Rider - if you go to www.rcdb.com and search for coasters on your list you can see if its been moved and how many times.

www.rcdb.com is real good if you're looking to see where rides have been in the past.

Nobody ever needs deprogramming. Here, just watch this new coaster video.

DOH! Moosh must have less to do at work than I do.

I multi-task, Mike. Post to C-buzz *and* get work done ;)

Thanks for the great site. This will help in answering a lot of my questions. Now Jeff doesn't have to put all the information that I requested earlier as I am sure he would have.

Rider - one more suggestion [if you don't already do this]: in addition to keeping a track record on C-buzz keep one on your computer at home, too. I used an Excel spreadsheet....always good to have a back-up ;)

Another great idea. I think I will make one tonight, I might even add a lap counter on it.

Totally off subject, how do I put smiley faces into my post?

Yeah, I've kept an Excel spreadsheet for the last 3 years. Much more customizable than any online track record thingy.
