Your park's trim brakes

Shockwave had the trim after the first loop when I got a picture of it in late '02.... I've got it in a photo. It's a crappy picture, because I was bored on Condor and started snapping some of Shockwave's deconstruction.

Talon has one before the immelman that I'm told isn't used.

Yeah, I'm sure that one isn't used on Talon, and if it is you can't even feel it. There's another one before the corkscrew isn't there?

Emerging from the ashes of Eric 013...

SFGAmViper: Just like most everyone else in this thread, I am counting block brakes that trim as trims as well. Hence my statements on Bull and The Eagle (And, no, I did not know that it ever ran three trains per side. And I would ceratinly have expected the block brake to be at the end of the big helix if it had done so. But since I know nothing on this matter, I might as well believe you).

When it comes to Demon, I am quite sure that every single time I've watched it go into the mid-courrse, I've heard barkes, and it has slowed down more than mere loss of momentum can acount for. And, yes, I'm sure I'm not thinking of the one at PGA. I've never been there. I've got a feeling that one of us is just wrong. You'll never be able to convince me, so let's just wait 'till Great America opens opens again, eh?

I am dead certain that I've seen pictures of trims right after the first loop on Shock Wave. And I'm I know that it got much, much rougher in that very spot at some point in my years of riding it. I'm going to look for some links on this.

I hear America screaming...

Six Flags Great Adventure has them on Nitro as pointed out earlier in the thread. Sadly I don't remember there being three, only two. One immediately before the hammerhead and the midcourse brakes. Great American Scream Machine has one immediately after the first loop and then a midcourse after the third loop. Medusa just has the midcourse. I think Runnaway Train has them right on the flat track before that strange dive around the trees (before the final hill over the lake). I think that's it at SFGAdv.
I've found a picture of Shock Wave's trims. I've seen better, but here it is: http://www.coastershowcase.com/photo.php?park=sfgam&ride=shockwave&image=2&size=large
