There are at least two complete trains on site that you can see - one was testing and the other was on the transfer track. All three trains could actually be on site and complete; they could have been testing two of them because you can't see all of the station interior when you're in the park.

I do understand, though.. this is a year-round park, so there's always going to be some sort of time when the park is open, and there's construction going on. oh well.

I do remember SFMM saying X was to open late summer. A quick check of the calendar shows it's not even close to late summer, but just a few days from winter actually. :)
Either way, I bet it's terribly exciting to be a SF passholder in LA right now!
