Great news. Hopefully they have got all the bugs out.

I certainly wish other SF parks would follow this lead. SFGAm has NEVER had anything special for its season pass holders.

I am decidedly in favor of Arrow, SFMM, and X. Only problem is: No X-riding 'til CoasterCon for me. So, all you SoCal coaster-junkies, Merry X-Mas (LOL), Happy Chanukah, and Kwazy Kwanzaa (stolen from Simpsons) to you all. Keep us posted, and break that thing in for me...that's break it IN, not break it....

OK...at least it's finally opening! Arrow is one of the greatest designers of all time! It sux that they are going into Chapter 11, but what the hell. Hopefully they'll pull out of this and they can start their major production again and really get back out into the market!

Yeah, this is a little misleading. The coaster won't open to the public until January 12th. Here's a good question for all of you. Will SFMM except season passes from SFMW in regards to X. That way I'll know whether to invite my friend or not. I myself will ride X *very* early Monday morning before the park opens. I got the hook up! ;)

Is that season pass holders for JUST SFMM or all SF Season Pass holders? If it is all SF pass holders, I am gonna start looking for flights<EG>

The easiest way to find out if its for just SFMM or all SF season pass holders would probably be to call SFMM and ask.

I"ll be there on the 24th hopefully with my Dad [a 65-yr-old ACE member and still going strong] and 11-yr-old nephew in tow. Not sure what I'll be wearing but I'll try to find my "mamoosh" RRC button and put that on my jacket.

What do you think the lines will be like during the season pass holders special preview? I want to buy a pass just to go during this time, but I don't know if it would be worth it.

Good question Nick, I would also like to know. It will probably be less then if MM let everyone ride it, but I am expecting decent crowds on X.

Just got off the phone with SFMM season pass office and they said that any SF pass will work. I will be there on the 1st.

I'll be there also on the 24th at the Season Passholders gate before opening. I'll be wearing all of my X-Files gear (hat, t-shirt, sweatshirt. Can't wait!! My coaster buddy and I were there on Sunday (12-16) and saw X test many times beginning in the mid-afternoon. That first drop is going to be awesome!! The train is kind of noisy going up the lift but after that it was very smooth and quiet.

Like I said, I'll be wearing a Tshirt that says DETOUR on the front (if it's cold I'll have a flanel shirt on as well). If anyone from here sees me, say hello! (I'll be with a bud....he's got dark brown hair and also has a moustache)
