Work being done on Timberwolf

For Gator and others--a POV video of most of Zinger. It cuts out just as the train dives into the tunnel.

^ Just plain wow...shame on any park that lets go of something THAT good...
Rode TWolf today and it was shuffling all over the place while it went through the course. The brakes on the first drop were on pretty light compared to how it has been -- no misters though which was disappointing. Can hardly wait until they completely retrack this thing.
Swoosh I also rode Timberwolf today and agree even the front was quite rough, the thing is just pitiful. My favorite part is the lift hill.

But seriously, even the lift hill isn't smooth!

And again, someone please explain these mister thingies! i have never seen them.

I rode in the front also. It is not painful, just sort of weird how it is shuffling all the way through the course. It almost acts as if the train has shrunk and no longer fits the gauge of the track. I have no idea why or how this is occuring, but it really needs to be fixed.

Misters are on top of the helix.

That's exactly what the shuffling feels like. It's like the train is gauged for a jr. woodie. :)

The misters...why? What are the misters for? How long have they been there?

I actually sort of liked the ride in front. Rode it twice in front just to see if the first wasn't just a lucky ride. Also rode in the back and the thing was crazy and was a bit painful. It won't give you a headache like most Vekomas but will attempt to rip your bones to shreds.

I actually think I may have seen you Swoosh, were you wearing that shirt that says "Mizzou" on it?

;) Yep, you caught me -- you caught the tader! :)
I was a ways behind you in the rather short line for Patriot. Wanted to say something but didn't want to look like an idiot if you were the wrong person. ;)
About what time was that? I think I ended up riding Patriot about 5 times Friday. Did you see which line I queued for? Also the guy with me was my brother if you couldn't figure it out. :)
You were in the line for front row, I was in the regular line - took a backseat ride. I only rode it twice - was with a bunch of GP's.
OK, that was early on in the day then. Derrijk wanted to ride in the front while the lines were short. There was no way I was going to wait for the front when they started using the front queue line only which starts at the entrance.
I was at WOF roughly two weeks ago and knowing how rough woodies can be and how many of them I have ridden, I can say I will never ride TW again. S let me save everyone the pain by saying unless you absolutely have to have the credit don't waste your time with this ride unless you like feeling like you got you got beaten up after the ride. I agree the best part of the ride now is the lift hill.

PS. I thought it was funny to hear one of the ride ops talking to a guest telling them it is a smoother ride now than it was at the beginning of the season. *** Edited 8/6/2006 3:33:44 PM UTC by cameroncrazy80***

First coaster ride was in 1999. I had no clue what I was missing.

Yeah, but you have to admit that it looks pretty now that they repainted the hand rails white. It looked pretty fresh as in within the last two weeks.
I still Love TW. Matt am I missing the POV on that page I just see pictures. *** Edited 8/9/2006 4:11:23 PM UTC by TonyBlackjack***
Found it Thanks

I don't like the painted hand rails, personally. I would like to see tunnels added to the ride. The flat turnaround could benefit from a tunnel.

I agree with the tunnels idea and put those misters in the tunnels as well.
We were just there and its still a really rough ride.My 8 yr old loves it and rode 6 time in a row.
