Who thinks that Cedar Point will get an Arrow 4D (otherwise known as X) that will be bigger, faster, and longer than X? You see SFMM will have the most coasters in the world (If you consider Superman: The Escape a roller coaster) in 2001, but CP still will have more roller coaster track than any other park in the world as well as more rides in total (Guinness doesn't have a most roller coasters in the world topic, I don't think).
I for one think that they will get one eventually, but first, I think they should get a B+M sitdown (CP doesn't copy other park's ideas in the area, they get their own rides, so that is why I think a floorless is out) and another woodie first.
Yes C.P. has lot's of Arrow Rides. I'm sure they will get a 4D. Hopefully, before the woody everyone wants.

It's all about the X Baby:]
CP copies other parks rides, none of their rides are ever anything new Just bigger, longer and faster versions of already existing ride types. But yes i do think they will get an X, and probably a sitdown looper of some kind.

#4: Viper (SFGAm)
#5: Goliath/Magnum
if it proves successful, i think we could see one. I also think an S&S coaster is on the way.
Who knows. There have been so many new styles in coasters just the past two years, they could get anything. I heard B&M is coming out with their own version of a flying coaster...I'm interested in that more.
They may put one in, but that will be after they see what happens at other parks.
The new Arrow Design could become as common as the Inverted coaster. The only thing is that the 4D must carry a huge price tag. Did SFMM release how much they are spending on this years expansion? We already know what the cost of a Super Invertigo will be and the kiddie coaster, what's the price of a 4D?

I don't think CP will get one of the 4D's, not for at least 5 years, anyway. They need a good standard sitdown looper (or floorless) before something crazy like the 4D. CP's Corkscrew is outdated, big time.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Well just remember one thing..
this is only a prototype coaster and Sf parks are good at getting prototypes.I think Cedar Point will just watch and see what happens with it.Kinda like what Sf did with Stealth and now SFO is getting one..very practical thinking.

I think Cedar Point, and every other park in the US will have their eye on SFMM this summer. Not only is this the most interesting looking prototype since the B&M invert, but it's the return of Arrow, an old theme park favorite. If this ride works, it represents an almost endless possibility of ways to thrill park visitors. I still think(for right now anyway) Cedar Point is on a very long CCI request list.

I think even though it may seem ordinary, since lots of parks are getting them, they will still be getting a Floorless in 2002,that is at least a floorless, who knows if they would install 2 or more new coasters in 1 year to reclaim there status...

If they get a floorless, I want it to be a launched one (LIM). I don't want CP to copy SFO.
If I had to guess (;)), I'd say that there's no chance that Cedar Point will get a 4D or floorless.

Well you didn't say "no chance" to one of the things I named ;)

Why would X be so very expensive? it seems to me the only modification is on the trains... I think it uses standard arrow track... Same deal with a floorless

I'm 2 for 2 so far!!!
I'm sure 9 years ago when Batman opened at SFGAM, peeps were saying that CP would never get an Inverted coaster. And look what happened 2 years later.
If I had to guess (;)), I'd say that there's no chance that Cedar Point will get a 4D or floorless.

Okay does everyone remember the last on-site prototype? It was slow and not all that (Stealth). I don't see Cedar Point getting a 4D coaster because its all about image. It would look like they are copying MM. Cedar Point will get a Woodie or a Sit down looper first

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
This new on site prototype will be anything but slow. Count on that. But I don't think Cedar point will build one anytime soon. Like Superman:Ultimate Escape, the Arrow 4D looks like it might be a Six Flags flagship ride.

To who? The average Ohio resident has never even heard of Magic Mountain. Hell, I used to think that "Magic Mountain" was some ride at Disney World in Orlando!
