Which park is the most notorious for line jumping?

I've only been to SFNE, SFGA, Hershey, BGW, BGT, Kings Dominion, and a few small local parks (for me) such as Canobie Lake in NH. I can honestly say the worst park for line jumping, fighting, and general rif-raf out of this short list was Kings Dominion in VA. I visited the park last summer in 2001. We saw two fights in line for Volcano (which actually helped us- it was so vicious many jumped the rail to flee allowing us to move ahead in line). They had a high school age girl sitting up in one of those life guard style chairs watching the crowd in line but she did nothing about the fight. About 10 minutes later two security guards meandered over long after the spectacle was over. What was the fight about? A brave guy in line tried to keep 3 punks from cutting. They kept yelling self righteously *excuse me!* as if we were all in their way...how dare we all be waiting in line. Needless to say, the brave sole got his butt kicked by the three punks. (I thoroughly enjoyed Volcano when I finally rode it by the way!!!) What a rush!! I never expected it to be that fast on launch!

Also, when in line for Hypersonic, my buddy and I turned our heads for 30 seconds and noticed at least 6 people had snuck around us in line. We did finally ride Hypersonic, after a 3 hour wait, but it was so worth it.

What do you all think? Worst line cutting experiences?

I would say SFNE. While I was waiting for Batman these people just walked straight in front of about 100 people. It was so pathetic. They just walked in front of us. When I went to PKD I thought that, that park was good and nobody cut me in line.

Well my worst experience with line jumping was probably SFKK and still is, I also noticed a bunch going on at SFWOA

id also have to say pkd. line jumping will result in ejection? ha!
SFA hands down was the worst I've ever witnessed.

Once when I was waiting in line for a water slide at SFNE, this guy climbed up all the stairs ahead of everyone in line. Then the ride shut down because of too much chlorine or something so I guess he got his. Also at Cedar Point, some one cut in front of my group for Millennium Force and the first day that Wicked Twister reopened, people formed a line outside the ride before it actually opened. I was pretty close to the front and had been waiting for a good hour and these two guys just walk right up and cut in front of me. They waited a while but left about ten minutes before the ride opened. I guess I usually get revenge on line cutters :)

sfmm. everybody has a friend or family member in the front line and they have to catch up with them

I just want to ride as many coasters as posible

That is terrible. Did anyone bother to help that guy fight off the three guys??

sfa all the way, people are so rude

I've noticed it most at SFA.

Face it, call ourselves what we want, but to the parks we are all "GP".

SFGADV is absolutely full of line cutters. Why bother even having lines? Nothing irritates me more than when someone thinks they are above the rules and can do whatever they want.

GeneticFreak is ABSOLUTELY correct. GAdv (granted it was a "band competition day") had more line-jumping than not last year....

MiA was pretty bad this year too, but when you see THAT many school buses at park opening, you brace yourself...

KBF had some, but at least the op I told at the raft ride sent the kids out with no ride...."so sad, no rides for line-jumpers".

Has anyone EVER been ejected from ANY park for this behavior.....kinda doubt it....

coasterr, the fight was way too intense. A few "peace makers" did try but it what help could they be? People were screaming, jumping the fence to flee, etc. I know this sounds bad but if you get involved in a fight that has nothing to do with you it usually backfires...IE you get kicked out, etc. The situation surprised everyone- no one knew what to do.

SFGAdv was pretty bad, even with a more pronounced police force than other parks. Kings Dominion was not that bad on Sunday, though morning/afternoon rain washed away almost all of the crowds. SFA also has its problems.

I am betting that weekdays, even at SFGAdv, are much better.

I never have problems on weekdays- it is always a more relaxed experience at any park. Less crowds=less wait=less tension. It is so worth taking a *cough* sick day from work.
SFA. It was better this year than last, but this also probably had to do with the fact that this year i went on a tuesday while last year i went on a saturday. And even on a tuesday when lines were near non-existant, there was still unabashed line jumping. I don't know but - is this a problem with Six Flags parks in general? How is line jumping at cedar point, knotts and that chain of parks? Also, i don't believe i've ever had problems of line jumping at BGW.

That is true...Getting involved does backfires, however a 3 on 1 situation is kinda one-sided. I know for a fact, I would have helped him...I hope that guy was ok, though??

he was okay. his girlfriend/wife/significant other watched the whole thing. He actually stood his ground quite nicely considering the situation. He still waited in line and rode. Face was swelled up, shirt had blood sprayed all over it (not all of it his) but when you have waited that long in line to ride I guess they figured why not ride? The other three ran off before security finally showed up.

Again- it was not a punch here and a duck there. It was a real street fight in the middle of the line. You have to remember- this took place deep in line in one of the many "corrals"- with the rails in the way there isn't much room. Not something you would want to be in the middle of.

One time when I was at SFGAm in line for Viper, a dad and his little 5 year old son said "excuse me, we have to catch up to the rest of our group" so of course I let them cut, but the thing was, they weren't going to catch up with the rest of their group. I noticed them walk right up into the station, and they were off the ride in about 5 minutes. Great example to teach your 5 year old son that line cutting is acceptable.
