Which coaster lived up to its hype?

"The question for me is if that's what can make it my favorite coaster. I have coasters of different types, but it's hard for me to pick a favorite among those. Millennium Force, Apollo's Chariot, Legend and Talon are my favorites in the genres they represent, but I could never pick one over the other."

Yeah, that's pretty difficult for me too. Like Montu is my favorite inverted and Kraken is my favorite seated looper, but I would be really hard pressed to pick one over the other. They serve two different purposes in my book. (Silly? Maybe. Trite? Possibly. Asinine? Definitely, but that just the way it is :))

Hey Chitown, please close this topic and kick both of them off the furoms (sic). 2Hostyl and Jack Daniels No 7 do not belong in these forums at all. Plus 2Hostyl seems to have a problem to complaine (sic) alot and get into it with others. - IL_MForce_Junkie
Raptor lived up to the hype for me.  After hearing of Batman, I couldn't wait to ride an inverted.  A buddy of mine and I were in the first row of the first "public" train on opening day...1994.  We worked at the Point and walked in really early...ending up first in line.

I will never forget the swarms of people who came flying down the midway after the gates opened.  Then we sat for another hour until it was time for the main event.

After the ride we were all screaming and clapping.  We gave the thumbs up to Mr. Kinzel and to this day I still get chills going up the lift hill.
