Anyways...
Phantoms Revenge, MegaZeph (there was no hype), and FOF all lived up to the hype.

THAT'S IT!!! That's *exactly* how I feel! When i rode Millie last year, i thought it was the best coaster in the park. But this year, I duuno, it didnt do as much for me (save the front seat ride which as awesome beyond words). It's still fun to ride...but sometimes I'd actually rather be on Raptor :)

Hey Chitown, please close this topic and kick both of them off the furoms (sic). 2Hostyl and Jack Daniels No 7 do not belong in these forums at all. Plus 2Hostyl seems to have a problem to complaine (sic) alot and get into it with others. - IL_MForce_Junkie
Overall, I love the ride, and it totally met my expectations. Of course, my expectation would be that it would carry the fastest average speed of any coaster I've ever been on, and in that respect it has delivered. No other coaster maintains that much speed throughout the ride.
The question for me is if that's what can make it my favorite coaster. I have coasters of different types, but it's hard for me to pick a favorite among those. Millennium Force, Apollo's Chariot, Legend and Talon are my favorites in the genres they represent, but I could never pick one over the other.
For that reason, Millennium Force lived up to the hype for me.
Ditto for pretty much every other hyped coaster, including Talon, Bull, Apollo, Big Bad Wolf, Nitro, Medusa (the original), etc. The only questionable one would be Hypersonic. The launch was beyond the hype, the pain and short course after the launch were not good.
