when will the new Geauga Lake coaster names be announced

to start another debate: if they change the names, does it count as a totally different coaster? :)
I think it's simply put like this Turbo:

No

Impulse-ive said:Who wants to put up $10 that says it'll take Coasterdude Nate approximately 3.2 seconds to say he hates the names and colors, they make him want to throw up, and Cedar Fair is the devil cause Geauga Lake doesn't have trees? Anyone? Anyone?

Freakin. Funny.

Sorry I came to that late, but Brett, I knew there was something about you that made me laugh, you have a sense of humor.

I'm just shocked he hasn't come in here and tried to either A) laugh it off like it dosen't really bother him while fuming infront of his computer all the while, or B)said something rude to you about it.

Either way, I'm sure Whatever CF decides to do will suck, be fugly, not be successful, and outright fail. Those are the facts, ma'am, just the facts.;)

Now off I am to find $10...

I would guess this Monday folks April 5th
does anyone know if the sale was even finalized yet?
if so, they should run an internet contest for names...
imagine: your coaster name, immortalized, (well, immortalized til the next buyout that is...) could be cool...
Mind Eraser====Brain Damage.
BatMan knight Flight=== Bats in flight.
The Villian=== (uh, this is tough... hmm, how about: Six Flagggsss.
X-Flight===Hang-Drop.
Road Runner=Cuyahoga Valley Line (think of the sponsorship deal... lol)
Serial Killer===Kneck Bracer Racer.
The Dipper= no change, Classic
Raging Wolf Bobs=50/50 no NADS rider. 50% smooth, 50% rough...(no Nads refering to no nad trains.. ) ... more to follow,,
The Six Flags WOA site hasn't changed much. They still have a link for Season Pass sales that they indicate are good at all Six Flags parks, but there is a small note at the bottom of the page saying that sales have been temporarily suspended and to check back often.

They still list all the animal attractions. They still list 4 Wildlife camps that were supposed to take place in March and April, and there was no notice that they were canceled.

All that seems to indicate the sale isn't final yet.

I couldn't get Cedar Fair's web site to come up this morning, so I couldn't check from that end.

I took a little trip down to Aurora yesterday. No signs of anything changing yet. All the SF signs are still up.

Two things I found interesting: 1) the Zebra was still in it's cage back behind the Raging Wolf 2) the bottom of the Wolf's drop is still untracked.

It doesn't take long to retrack the parts, its modifying the support structure to accomodate the track is what takes the longest. They should be able to finish up tracking in a good 2 - 3 days work if they wanted.

CF might even drive a few extra Point guys in to help finish it if needed. Wouldnt be a bad idea if they fell behind.
