when will the new Geauga Lake coaster names be announced

Well, there's still a bunch of ride signs at the park where you can see they painted over "Geauga Lake" and just put the Six Flags sticker on top of it. I guess they could just take the sticker off. :)

Y'know, if they rename Villain to Hercules, they can sell all of the leftover merchandise from Dorney!

I just hope I can buy a Pepsi there again.

There's a reason I "pooh-poohed" the idea of dropping JUST the superhero part of the name (it wasn't JUST to be difficult, LOL). To me, it seems like CF would be wise to put some psychological *distance* between the new GL and the old SFWoA.

As I have mentioned once or twice, I had a great time on my day at the park, but the LOCALS are what's important, and based on the *assumption* that their view of the park was "less-than-stellar", then it makes more sense to give the impression of "A Brand New Day"...

Brian Noble - what obcession? I posted once about him, because everyone knows it's true, everyone knows it's going to happen, and I knew at least Gonch and probably Tekno would find it hilarious. Plus, now when he DOES s*** all over the names and colors and trees, I can claim that I said it first and that I rock and you should all worship me ... so ha.

Pretty soon, he'll have to rename himself, just like +Danny.

Careful! That's such a great cost-saving idea that someone at CF might read these boards and actually do that. I know if I was in charge of the naming decision, I'd seriously consider it from a financial standpoint alone.

The only thing worse than not getting an inside joke is getting it wrong when you try to explain it to someone else.

Methinks Batwing has been around long enough to know what it actually DOES mean and is just trying to red herring the whole thing so it can be squashed.

I hope CF doesn't just take off the DC Character and have Knight Flight & Ultimate Escape, but I don't think they are that lazy. We really shouldn't be worrying about this now, the deal hasn't even been finalized yet, and it might not get done tomorrow like they said...

Should we really not worry about now or just not worry about it ever? As has been pounded in ad nauseum, changing the ride name doesn't change a damn thing about the ride.

Good point. It isn't really a big deal, the layouts are the same, the trains are the same, nothing has been altered, still the same ride..
