Whats wrong with TTD ?

Brett - I'm not being an enthusiass...I just think its funny how people can say something is best "in the world" without knowing for sure.
^ It's their opinion. Who cares??

TTD420- I highly doubt TTD will be up that weekend. Sorry man.

I didn't say I cared, I said I thought it was funny. That's MY opinion...why do YOU care?
I too thought it was interesting that there was NO infomation on the reason for TTD being down that I could find in all of the usual places. I still check the cam, and look at the status on the CP website each weekend with my fingers crossed. It would be truly a bummer for it to be down for the rest of the season.

MF lines have been extremely longer than TTD's this season (TTD's were not bad at all). Even if you prefer MF to TTD, you actually lose out with Dragster being down. Your lines will increase probably close to two-fold.

It's probably some thing simple, but all the maintenance staff is so busy preparing for the constuction of next years attraction, they havn't had time to fix it. ;) j/k

I doubt the line for MF has much to do with TTD being down as it has to do with the nazi-ish loading procedure that MF endures.

Superman (SFNE) actually is the one that had someone ejected, and it loads fairly well considering the scrutiny it exists under.

MF is almost not worth waiting for anymore.

If MF was all that, I would have visited each of the last three years. I'd take my 50th place woodie over it.

Millennium Force is the best coaster on the planet!

Wow...your track record must be HUGE!

Yes, I have a good record.

All coasters have been ridden at the following parks:

Cedar Point. Kings Island. SFGad. SFA. SFNE. SFDL. SFKK. SFMM. Great Escape. Holiday World. Coney Island. Las Vegas (High Roller, Manhattan Express).

It's a pretty long list that the moderator doesn't want posted (I tried 2 times).

Again, all opinion. If I think MF is the best, then it is. If you are too scared to ride it, and you think the Jr. Gemini is the best, I don't care. All opinion. *** Edited 9/19/2005 2:27:09 AM UTC by italianstallion***

Do you have a better idea? It's like you've just woken up to all the trouble the Hydraulic system for both TTD and KK have been. Your launching an extremely heavy train from 0-120+ mph in less than 4 seconds. Something is bound to go wrong and it has.

Wow, I wish I could get over my fear of MF. At least I have finally graduated to riding Gemini now. Those long lines at Gemini Jr were killing me ;)

What grade are you in?

italianstallion, You are a dork. Moosh IS a mod. EDIT- OOPS! No he isn't. umm why was I thinking that? Looks like I'm a dork too.

I understand what you are saying, because I love MF as well, but when I say it is the best, I always put a "imho" somewhere near the statement, which means "in my humble opinion".

"MF is the best coaster ever built, imho."

See how that sounds? It doesn't tell others that they are wrong, it tells them that their opinions are different from yours.

I'm still wondering how in the world you are still here after the name calling in that deleted thread a few days ago.

Actually the better statement to make would be "MF is the best coaster I've ever ridden" because one cannot compare it to those you have not ridden. And how can someone say "best in the world" if they have not ridden all the coasters in the world?
Mamoosh, when did you become a mod? I'm always the last to know ;)

Fate is the path of least resistance.

I'm not a mod.
italianstallion... I thought these message boards were for Opinions. are they not?

moosh.. by the sounds of it... I am guessing he's a High School dropout. He knew it all anyways.

We're all free to express our opinions. The caveat with doing so is that others have the right to challenge it.

I'm not challenging that Millie is his favorite coaster. In fact I'm glad it brings him so much joy. But I am challenging his claim that its the best in the world. Clearly only someone who has ridden them all can garner that opinion.
