The Lady Bug kiddie coaster at Darien Lake! My first "semi-adult" coaster was the Scooby Doo Coaster at King's Dominion, and my first full size was Viper at Darien Lake. Ah, memories...
Mine was Coneaut Lake's Blue Streak. NOT a good coaster to start on. My memories are me flying around in the last car holding on for my life. Its like a woody allen movie, completely exaggerated.
My first was the Jackrabbit at Kennywood, dear old Dad got me hooked. I remember the day better for standing at the fence in front of the Thunderbolt and bawling my eyes out because I was too short to ride, though!

My First Coaster was the Jack Rabbit at Clementon Lake in 1989, At an age of only 2 (I have always been tall). I remember when returning to the station that I started to cry, not because it scared me but because the operators had to (forcfully)remove me from the ride cause I liked it so much and didn't want to wait to ride again. *** Edited 3/19/2004 4:15:24 PM UTC by Coasterfreak2***
The coaster at the defunct Dandelion Park in Muskego, WI...... I don't remember the name of it, but I do know I was terrified to ride it :) Then in 76, Marriotts Great America opened and the rest is history......
My first coaster was simply called "The Coaster" in Korea in 1977. My first one in the US was the Grizzly at Kings Dominion (before PKD).
For me it was either Steel Force or Hercules(R.I.P.) in like 97 which i guess would have been steel force's first or second year open or it may hav been Trailblazer at Hershey the year before. i was either 5 or 6
My first coaster was Galaxi at Indiana Beach, my parents dragged me on it when I was around 5. I was scared of coasters for a few years after that until my cousin finally got me to ride Demon at SFGAm.
My first coaster was, The Big Bad wolf with my grandpa back in 1994, It will always be my favorite ride.
My first coaster was the Little Dipper at Camden Park in my hometown of WV. Second coaster (drum roll for the obvious) would be the Big Dipper at Camden. Now, the first coaster to ever really scare me was the Racers at KI. I remember that line used to be very long when it first opened. My mother used to have to bribe me with a dollar to ride it. I was too chicken, but always loved it when we returned to the station. First looper...The Screamin' Demon. First suspended...The Bat.
It was Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point October 1997, I was scared to death. It took me till 2002 just to ride Corkscrew and now I'm riding Top Thrill Dragster!
ThunderHawk at Dorney Park back in 1994. I was a little boy then. Thats when my dad wanted to take me on the Hercules, however i never got to ride the Hercules that day. nine years later i did. ThunderHawk was an awesome ride then and it still is.
R.I.P. 1989-2003 Hercules. A well built coaster. You will be missed!!!
My first would be the Wildcat at Lake Compounce in 1965. Ajrides!
Mine was The Whizzer or Rolling Thunder at SFGAm at the age of 6 in 1989.
As a little kid, it was it was The Beastie at PKI. My first adult coaster was The Screechin' Eagle at Americana, (now LeSourdsville Lake), followed by The Beast, (same weekend). First steel coaster was the Screamin' Demon at PKI, (now where the Action Zone resides).
Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. 1979 I guess. Rode it a couple of weeks ago and it's better than ever. Can't beat a classic woodie.
518 coasters ridden but who's counting...............?
My first coaster was the Wizzar at Six Flags Great America. When I heard that they were going to replace it with Superman: Ultimate Flight, I wanted to cry. You have no idea how happy I am that they decided to get rid of Shockwave instead. Thank You Six Flags.
The Only Thing Worst Then Dieing, Is Living And Having Nothing Worth Dieing For.
Can not believe that I didnt post the first time that this was up, but mine would be The Cedar Creek Mine Ride back in 1972, its also the first and last coaster my dad ever rode! He is the ultimate chicken!!! He still thinks MagnumForce and I are crazy for traveling all over to ride rollycoasters as he calls them, but he did actually stand there mesmerized watching Cyclops a couple years ago!
Dave
Magnum Force-" I cant eat on an empty stomach!" Chirs -"what did you say"
