what was your first coaster ever??

My first coaster ever was PKD's Scooby doo ghoster coaster.

My first true high speed coaster was Wild one back in 89 when the park was still known as Wild World.

My first steel coaster, which also happens to be my first looper was Anaconda at PKD.

After riding Ghoster coaster for the first time I swore off coasters forever but my first lap on Wild one was enough to get me hooked from that time on.

Actually it was a kiddie wodden coaster at Kiddieland outside Chicago. My first bigger one was Big Thunder Mt. Railroad. But my first major coaster was American Eagle.
My first coaster was Little Dipper at Kiddieland in Melrose Park, IL. I would go there a few times during the year, living minutes from the park. My first coaster at my now home-park of SFGAm was Whizzer, with my first looping coaster being Shockwave.

American Eagle in it's inaugrial season, 1981. I remember how intimidated everyone was about that coaster back then and I decided to make it my first!!! I was so scared.

My first looper was Demon the very next year.

My first coaster was the Sea Dragon at Wyandot Lake in Columbus, Ohio. My first "big" coaster was Magnum at CP when the lines were still 2 hours...and my first upside-down coaster was the the Double Loop at Geauga Lake (Now SFWE).
------------------
Always been a CP junkie...until I rode S:RoS at SFNE!
I think it was Space Mountain, but it might have been Thunder Mountain. All I really remeber back then was that I loved Thunder Mountain, and hated Space Mountain. When my mom decided to take me on Space Mountain. I was 7...I wasn't scared at all, but I quickly became scared on the ride. I was so skinny back then that my mom was afraid I was going to fly out so she kept reaching back and trying to hold me in. I remember hitting the brake run at the end and just managing to utter.."is it over yet?" She assured me it was. I felt lucky to be alive.
My First Steel was Magnum(CP)
My First Looper was Drachen Fire(BGW)
My First Woodie was Wild One(SFA)

Ah hem this was before i moved to the west coast. :)

Shooting Star (a John Allen woodie) at the now-defunct Lakeside Amusement Park in Salem, VA. I was about 6 and was about a half inch too short, but after begging the ride op I was allowed to ride as long as my mom was in the same car. My older sisters had been riding all day and I was desperate to join the fun.

Well, I kept popping off the seat and my mom felt she had to hold me down to keep me from flying out. There was only a buzz bar and there may not have even been seat belts at that time, so there was a huge amount of room between my legs and the bar. I nearly soiled myself and had bad dreams about flying out of the train for years after.

It wasn't until a friend convinced me to go on Tidal Wave at SFGAm about 6 years later that my fear of coasters subsided.

My first coaster was Scooby Doo at Kings Dominion, 1978. It's also the first coaster I 'marathoned'--same day.

First steel was Trailblazer at Hersheypark, and first looping was Sooperdooperlooper, both in 1979, if I remember correctly.

Edit: Actually, I think I'm wrong--my first steel was Galaxi at Kings Dominion, 1979.

Steel: Matterhorn Bobsleds @ Disneyland

Wood: Coaster Thrill Ride @ Puyallup Fair

Looping: Corkscrew @ Knott's

Nothing like the Blue Streak in 1974. Cripe, I'm frickin' old!

There's nothing like a woodie...

My first coaster was the Giant coaster at crystal beach Canada, followed by the Comet, which is still the best wooden coaster in existance today.
My first coaster was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad @ Disney World back in '84. I believe I was 8 years old. My 2nd coaster was Space Mountain. My first looping coaster was Scorpion followed by Python @ Busch Gardens Tampa. After that vacation to Florida, I was hooked, however... after that Schwarzkopf loop, I was deathly afraid of looping coasters. My first wooden was Eagle @ SFGAm a bit later in the summer.. but i wouldnt ride demon for a couple years due to my first encounter w/ a loop.
My first coaster at all was a portable kiddie coaster called the Jack Rabbit. My first "real" coaster was Raging Bull. My first woodie was Viper. The closest I've been to an inverting coaster thus far is MF's overbanked curves.

My very first coaster was the Blue Streak in 1978 or so I couldn't stand it and hated roller coasters even though my dad made me ride every one in CP with him for the next four years then We went to KI and I rode the Beast for the first time. It has been a love affair ever since. The Beast is still my favorite coasterbut CP has my heart as far as collection is concerned.
My first steel was Demon.
The one and only Yankee Cannonball (age 3)-in the era before height restrictions at the park I got to ride it, but I couldnt ride it the year after because I was too short :(

Summer 03-CP, HP, Canobie, SFNE, SFWOA, and SFGAm.

My first one was called Himalayabahn (internationally, I think this coaster was known as the Schwarzkopf Wildcat) and was a travelling coaster on our fair in Freiburg, SW Germany. It now seems to have found a fixed home at Schwabenpark (http://www.schwabenpark.com/himalayabahn.htm)
It did thrill me quite a lot at the time (1979)
My first Coaster was at SFGAm. I was 6 maybe 7 years old. I had never actually seen a rollercoaster in person and was so excited to be going. We drove in and I seen this massive coaster that you drove under as you were parking. I am guessing it was The American Eagle? I am not sure...but I shouted I WANNA GO ON THAT RIDE.... everyone was like OK THEN....

Yup I wanted to go on it until I was actually standing NEXT to it. I tried to pretend I wasnt tall enough for it....however NO such luck(I was a tall girl and made the cut pretty easily)...and my parents laughed and made me go on it. I hated every minuet of it...I closed my eyes....I am not even sure- I dont recall it actually having racing type cars.
I remember I REALLY wanted to go on some ride called like Z-Force or something....I am not sure. I wasnt tall enough though....

I have not been to SFGAm since then and that was back in the 80's.

I didnt go on coasters again till I was about 10. We visited Michigan Adventures...I hated that dang wooden ride(not shivering timbers) but the corkscrew was pretty cool. (HAHA I went on it again two years ago....man is that TINY!)

I can say I didnt really LIKE coasters but I didnt really HATE them either.
I started REALLY enjoying them in 98'. Now I love them ALL! I even went to TTD opening day.... (HOWEVER I am still scared of the cable cars and the fariswheel!haha- go figure)
