Swoosh said: see this thread yet? I think there are a lot of good ideas here.
Actually, I forwarded it to all our directors (including Will and Mrs. Koch) the first day.
We have an occasional informal conversation about this topic, so I thought it would be fun to pass along what the CBers had to say.
Please note: all the GOOD ideas...well, I'd already come up with them myself. :)

Kinda "funny" watching the show mention HW without mentioning Legend and then also mentioning Kennywood and mentioning and showing "Steel Phantom" ;)
Also fellow Chicagoans, it will be rebroadcast on 7/9 2:30am; 7/11 4am; 7/19 12mid . *** Edited 7/8/2004 7:25:29 PM UTC by redman822***
Perhaps HW should add a coaster themed to "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" next...;)
"Don't Look Back"....:)

Any takers for Income Tax Day?
Our controller and I had a blast coming up with ideas for this last spring.
How 'bout a scary dark ride called The Audit?
And when you pay for an entire pizza, we hold back 1/3?
We'd definitely need a dunking booth... :)

The followong year I would build a Chance Giant Wheel and another small ride like teacups or even a small coaster, like a mouse.
I'd have to agree that before the park expands into a new themed area it would be nice if they had a carousel [preferrable rescuing a classic PTC...and a Brass Ring toss would be nice!], a ferris wheel, a dark ride, and a few more classic modern flats.
IMHO the perfect placement for the carousel, wheel, and dark ride would be as follows:
*the carousel in place of the fountain in front of Kringle's.
*the ferris wheel would be where the kiddie bumper boats is now, which would allow for a nice view down to Splashin Safari.
*the dark ride should go on the big grassy slope between Raven and the Dive show.
As for flats first and foremost I'd love to see the park rescue a Mangles Whip. It's a simple yet fun ride that grandparents, who remember them from their youth, can take their grandkids on. And anyone who's seen kids riding a whip knows they love 'em!
As for modern flats, how about a Rock-n-Tug themed to Santa's Sleigh? Or a Disk-O that looks like a Pumpkin? Or a firecracker-themed Frisbee? Lots of possibilities.
And of course, MORE WOOD COASTERS!!
Is this where I place an order for an Eli Bridge wheel? I like the Chance wheels too, but nothing can compare to those old Elis...;)
If you'ree willing to make that dark ride a Sally-brand interactive, I think we can start signing contracts, Moosh.... ;)
I ALMOST mentioned a Rocking Tug themed to Santas Sleigh, too, Moosh.
Another Great ride to build: A Paratrooper and a Kite Flyer for everyone... or a Cliffhanger.....
Bunny Hop Coaster:A TGG junior family woodie.
Easter-Go-Round: An easter theme carousel with animals themed to bunnies and baby chicks along w/easter eggs.
Spinning Eggs: A spinning teacup type ride with seats shaped like Easter eggs.
A large Chance gondola type ferris wheels with with seats themed to Easter baskets.
With the rumored 100 acres left for expansion the Holidog kids sections could to relocated and merged with the Easter section. This would leave room for a giant steel structure woodie that could built in-house like Hades for the 4th of July section. Any good 4th of July names left that could be used for a giant out & back woodie?

The carousel where the fountain is currently located is pure unadulterated genius....IMO.
We looked at that a few years ago, but determined it would be too congested to put a carousel there, with the queueing and all.
But if you still want to call Moosh a genius, I guess that's your right... :)
