Coasterville Dave did a great job summing things up thus far. I know sometimes there gets to be so many posts it is hard to read through all of them before wanting to type your own response, just to find out someone else has said the same thing.
I can just imagine the sweets shop in Valentine's Day! Little Raven shaped chocolates Mmmmmmm.

Of course, if they had to add one, I'd be partial to St. Pattie's Day what with being Irish and all. Of course, the drunken nonsense associated with that holiday might not be in line with the park's "family" atmoshphere, but hell if they're giving away free Guinness I'll be there ASAP!

Groundhog Day.
Wouldn't that be the same thing day after day?
Now, looking at the holidays, they have:
Christmas - winter
Fourth of July - summer
Halloween - autumn
Looks like a spring holiday would logically follow.
"Saint Patrick and the Easter Bunny's April Fools Earth Day Party".
I like the idea though, and there's NOTHING wrong with building a clone of Tremors...every park should have one...:)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
Don't take this the wrong way - Holiday World is my #1, favorite park. And it got even better this year with the no smoking rule. But I wouldn't like to see anymore obvious religious holidays. I have no problem with christmas, when it's the day about presents, Santa Claus, etc. But I don't care for the nativity scenes. I'm not deeply religious, but I would think there may be some people of other religions who take offense to not being represented. I'm not saying remove the religious items, just branch out and include some others.
Just because the park is located in an area that appears to have little diversity, doesn't mean it's not a good idea to start incorporating some. It's not just the locals who go to the park.
Keep in mind Holiday World is a relatively small mark on a budget. Custom Bimers coast money.
As for Holidays - Girl Scout Day, Flag Day, and My Birthday seem like the obvious choices.
I still like Birthday.
Hey Paula, have you let Pat see this thread yet? I think there are a lot of good ideas here.
Brian, who doesn't feel like explaining. :(
Cinco de Mayo, baby.
Back to ApolloAndy's idea, an Arrow Suspended with pinata shaped cars, which would dodge and swing around the buildings of the new fiesta village section. Then climb a second lift for a more agressive second half zig zagging through the forest, dodging trees with near misses at high speeds. Not a hardcore thrill ride, but would definitely be high on the fun factor, which seems to be HW's niche.
