Reading these comments I just had to add my 2pence worth... what in hecks name is a grit????
In England we call pop/soda either fizzy, fizzy pop or pop depending on where you come from. I'm in Cleveland at the end of March so I'll have them talking properly too. Your accents sound as funny to us as ours do to you, specially the southern ones.

Best pizza in the world is PapaJohns Kentucky BBQ, deep pan.
The ones they make over here are fantastic!!!!!!!

[SF]GA says "Grafitti on the walls, tables, chairs, and most of the cieling? That would be Gino's East."
Then IB Steve says "Then it's easy. Pizzeria Uno is by the Rock n Roll McDonalds in River North. Gino's East is just off N. Michigan Ave. by the Water Tower."
OK...I know we were not near the Water Tower. That's on the north end of downtown, right? This place was definitely west of my waterfront hotel, right near the RnR McDonalds. Which one of you is mistaken?

Peabody, you're killing me here....go to Haussner's for some sauerbraten, and ship a BIG portion down to the gator, wouldya....oh man, best German food in the world. Of course, now that I think of it, the Schnitelbank restaurant WAS somewhere near HW, right?
I guess Coasterbuzz has become the world's purveyor of information related to "fine dining"...:)
I've been to the place that Mamoosh is talking about, but I can't remember which one it is. I'm not really 'into' Chicago style pizza that much, so I'm not up on all the different spots.
Maybe our resident lover of Hercules and Chicago style pizza can help. :)
Uno's doesn't have all the grafitti going on...Gino's is at Wells & Ontario...not at all far from RnR McDonald's/Hard Rock/Ed's...edit: this is their NEW location though...not sure how long ago they moved http://featuredfoods.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/a-store/ginosconcept.shtml?L+scstore+dtft7056ginosff901390+1043708821

Grits....plural. Broken grains of corn or hominy. They are ok....I'm not crazy about them.
There are some of us that don't sound too funny. :) I have been accused of having a mixed accent, and I am GRITS. (Girl Raised In The South) HaHa.

Yup Moosh, along with BeerUp (7 up and beer) Mt. Beer (Mt. Dew and Beer) and a different kind of white trash cocktail. You take a swig of vodka and then take a swig of squirt and mix it in your mouth. Odd
College Kids will try anything.
