What coaster name doesn't seem to fit?

Snakes are overdone, Anaconda, Viper, Python, Cobra, Rattlesnake to name but a few......
Also, Paramount uses movie (Top Gun, Tomb Raider...) names while Six Flags uses superhero names (Batman, Superman...)

I think I read somewhere that it's the Chinese word for fear, but don't quote me on that...

If that's true that's a cool name. :)

How about Montezuma's Revenge. Isn't that what you get when you drink tap water in Mexico?

Great Bear at Hersheypark is named after the star contellation "Great Bear". Not the animal.

Any coaster named Serial Thriller. Come on. Give me a break. I think using a pun off of serial killer first off is a bad idea. It also sounds reallllly stupid.

x i cant stand that name. such a dull name for creative new coaster like this
At Great Adventure Medusa, its not the name i dont like its just the fact that its in frontier land and what does Medusa have to do with the wild west.
The 100 years old Force(MF)
Maybe CP should name their new coaster "Jeff's Grass" as it would probably be a popular ride among us buzzers.
I have a list of ones I don't like:

X, Millennium Force, Mantis, Sky Princess, Serial Thriller, T2, anything with Superman, Batman, or any other reused SF name just for the fact that they're way overused.

I do have to say one thing though, I gotta disagree with Cornball Express. Think about it, it's in Indiana, at Indiana Beach, whose slogan at least used to be, "There's more than corn in Indiana, at Indiana Beach!" Basically though, outside of there and Holidayworld, there is nothing but corn in Indiana. So I think that name fits in very well in there.
Serial Thriller at SFWoA isn't really in good taste.
Mantis, Steel Dragon 2000, i agree, it does sound like a Japenese movie.

How about the Georgia Scorcher. Its colors don't even resemble fire. Purple supports, gold spine, and gray rails. I don't really like the whole re-use batman: the ride name, but what else would they name it if each one was named different? Also, Mantis isn't too great. It's like, oh no!, a yellow and red and blue bug? Oh yeah, Pepsi Max Big One? What the he** does that mean? Haha. What about Gemini? It doesn't seem to fit with that coaster.
Now for some names I do like. Kumba(It means Roar, appropriatley named for a B&M), Montu, Gwazi, Superman Krypton Coaster is cool but would have been better if themed properly, Talon, Raptor, Phantoms Revenge, Goliath&Titan, AIR(Aerial Inversion Rollercoaster), Nemesis, Oblivion, Kraken, Dueling Dragons, Incredible Hulk Coaster, Raging Bull is pretty cool, Nitro is awesome, Shockwave, X is cool, cause a prototype is sometimes called x until they find a name for it, kinda like when they don't have a name for a planet, they just call it planet x until they get one. I could go on and on, but I'm not. Don't quote me unless it is absolutley necessary.

Georgia Cyclone-The Most A Coaster Can BEEEEEEEE.
Actually, I think Gemini fits the coaster perfectly, with the twins and the same track and all, but that's just my opinion. :)

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

isn't batman 'the dark knight' or something like that?
Although I've grown used to it after almost 2 years, Milennium Force is a pretty bad name for a coaster, CP could've done better.  It sounds kinda cool if you call it Force, but let's face it, Milennium Force doesnt sound nearly as intimidating as Magnum XL-200 or Goliath (I LOVE that name).  It would have been sweet if they named it something like "David, Slayer of Goliath", but I can see why they didn't since I don't think they like lawsuits.

It's a great coaster, and I can rest easy knowing it's not called Cornballl Force
