What coaster name doesn't seem to fit?

Magnum XL-194"

Actually, the drop is only 194 ft., but the lift itself goes up to 205 ft.

And names that don't fit with the coasters they're attached to... Well, I always thought that Kong at SFMW was pretty silly. What the heck does 'Kong' mean, anyway? Is it referring to 'King Kong'? Is 'Kong' the equivalent of "Painful ride, bad color scheme" in some other language? We may never know...

Speaking of Kong...What about Chang? Interesting name, but kind of weird if you ask me. Then again, Gwazi is REALLY out there...:)

Magnum XL 194 err... I mean Magnum XL 200.:)

Top 5 Coaster
1.X-Flight 2.Millennium Force 3.Superman Ultimate Escape 4.Raptor 5.Batman Knight Flight
I am gonna have to agree with all of you because 80% of most rides have very weird names. I also think that escape is use too often as well. The best theming coasters ( I think ) are Manhattan Express, Canyon Blaster, Kumba,Montu,Nemisis, Incredible Hulk,Dueling Dragons, and a lot more. I personally think that B&M coasters are the best named and the best themed.

Geauga Lake named their new coaster for 1988 Raging Wolf Bobs out of horor for another coaster that had burnt down. There used to be a information about the ride down by the exit ramp, but I have not walked down there in years.

In reference to Gwazi's name it is referring to a mythilogical creature that has a body of a lion and the head of a tiger. Gwazi has 2 coasters the lion and the tiger.

Sorry to sound technical but the boomerang at SFMW does fit the theming. It sits right next to Tazmanian Devil so I think that they were sort of going for an Australian theme. Also there is outback burgers. :)

Batman Knight Flight. Since when was Batman a medivel soldier.

"What's up from out of town"
Superman: Krypton Coaster is located in an area themed to a different country. That is pretty dumb.

WASSUP!
dmb-crush, yeah, I was just thinking about Kong's name. It probably does mean 'Painful Ride'. ;)
Steel Dragon 2000
It sounds like one of those cheezy Japenese movies!

Yeah, I know...I have ridden both. I just brought up the name. I don't dislike it at all. It is just a bit odd. I like the "sound" of it a lot! Sounds scary, but reminds me of a character in a role playing game.

I think the "Serial Thriller" at SFWOA is a poorly chosen name. Mostly because it isn't even thrilling.
Gwazi is a mythilogical creature originating from which country? It sounds African.

The Great Bear. What does an inverted coaster resemble about a bear????

I'm guessing that you're joking. Batman is also known as the Dark Knight. It's a comic based on the later years when Bruce Wayne was older. It's a darker comic. Not much humor at all.
The Teddy Bear at some private park in Ohio.

Not to be cruel or anything. But the whole theme of Busch Gardens Tamp was African, Infact it used to be called Bush Gardens, The Dark Continent, but that name got lost in the late 80's/ early 90's, Same with Busche Gardens Williamsburg (which used to be called Bush Gardens The Olde Country)

welcome one and all, y'all come have a ball!
Things a bear-y fine, ridin' on the old knott's bear-y line!
two ride names I'd like to see deleted from every park map "Superman" and "Batman" Is it just me or does just about every park have a ride named after a comic book hero? What ever happened to parks comming up with their own story?
