What 04 annoucement are you looking foward to.

I don't post much because it's not important what I think.

The Orient Express has been plagued with some mechanical problems recently (since '99). I didn't start this rumor, but it has been going on for awhile now. I wouldn't worry about it though. I just don't want to hear the park say anything.

I personally am looking forward to SFWoA and CP. Despite the fact people think they wont get anything big I think that they have something ready to just blow away SFMM in the coaster count, mostly because noone has ever really competed with CP in this record, so I think CP will want to show that they are the true owneers of the coaster title. And for SFWoA i am qurious to see if they get a hyper if so what kind (even though i highly doubt it i wouldnt mind seeing a 4-d *not a clone of X*), or an intamin like SROS
It's now official. Both PKD and PKI have big announcements, and I'm bringing them here first before they announce it.

First Kings Dominion is removing Shockwave to the delight of the crowd.

Yes, Kings Island fans, the rumors are true, they are getting a new steel coaster for 04. Ladies and gentleman, live and direct from Kings Dominion, it's the one, it's the only...........SHOCKWAVE!

Now that's positive information you can take to the bank.

Why would they bring back a ride that they just removed? Isn't Shockwave the same model as King Kobra was? That makes no sense whatsoever.

It makes no sense because it is a joke smart one.

....the similarities between King Cobra and Sh**wave end at both being Togo stand-ups....other than that, they are (were?) *completely* different...

now if King Kobra were to return, that would be an announcement...:)

Well with all the other "take it to the bank" information around here, its hard to tell the difference ...

Brett - unless it's been announced by the park all "take it to the bank" info is suspect.

mOOSH

PS - Hershey is getting a B&M Flyer, and you can take that to the bank ;)

The announcement I am looking forward to most is the one where "enthusiasses" stop asking the question "What will XYZ park get for next year?"!! I know unfortunately that announcement will never come. ;)

Honestly I look forward to any new coasters...especially ones with airtime. I am a self-proclaimed airtime whore so the more the merrier.

To those looking forward to the Knott's 2004 Raptor-Talon inversion machine, how sound is the Screamscape rumor entry that it won't happen until 2005 now because they're having problems relocating the church inside the park?

I am looking forword to the announcment at pki and michigans adventure the most. I think that michigans adventure is due for some type of major attraction. And kings island needs a good steel coaster to compliment its collection.
I'm looking forward to no announcement from Kennywood so that the wild rumors I can think up in my head (or with assistance from others - like Sandcastle moving and an invert in the valley by Pizza Hut) might have some extra capital to back them in 2005 ;)

Seriosuly though - Hershey. If its anything more than a 195 foot tall kiddieland ride, I'll probably be investing in a season pass there and that makes me happy =)

Paramount Canada's Wonderland.

Wouldn't everyone look forward to their homepark's announcement?

I can't wait for that strata-coaster! ;)

Seriously, I just don't want another flat, or kiddy coaster.

Gimme a european-goliath clone and I will never complain again.... Even though that would never happen.

I AM CANADIAN

i think SFFT may get a B&M flyer or A batman the ride clone(i hate to say it..but maybe)..but im sure they will get something new for 04..weather it be a coaster or a new Thrill ride.....

Considering there is a BTR clone 10 minutes down the road from SFFT, i can tell you we wont be seeing a BTR clone. But there will be something next year....
