Wow, that's not a bad price for Thunder Eagle! I still can't believe Race World is dead. I know the competition in Pigeon Forge is fierce, and I guess their location didn't help either.

" So, since we're not sure who wants to sell their SLC, where is the Roller Skater coming from?"
It's weird how they list is as built by Vekoma/Meisho. I thought Meisho only built rides in Japan...

You are about to discover what lies beyond the 5th dimension, beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination in the Tower Of Terror.

btw...The SLC being sold isnt SFNE's
Calvin, Can you elaborate on how you know this? Thanks.
Or am I remembering wrong? Or is it a custom tub? I remember there was something odd about it.....
It was the Conestoga or something like that, right?

"...they came like a winged curse. A twin plague of demonic dragons!" - Dueling Dragons
Might this be the start of a trend all across the boards for SF?
If they plan on selling one of their 97 SLC's then perhaps they might be interested in selling off all the others in the chain & replacing them with smooth, safe & reliable B&M inverteds (cough B:TR cough cough)if that happens I wouldn't mind seeing SFA's mind eraser go out the door.
Does anyone have any idea on why they are looking to sell this particular unit? perhaps it's either a space issue or more likely a parts/saftey issue because out of all of the SLC's from personal experience SFA's is the most unsafe version that I've ever ridden, that thing is an accident waiting to happen.

Just to add fuel to the fire... SFDL had their SLC blocked off this past year for FrightFest when in years past the trail to MindEraser was a huge haunted path. I was hoping it was b/c they were prepping for a new ride but could it be they are prepping their SLC to be torn down? I hope not, I love the front seat on that ride!! And by the way, the Soquet at SeaBreeze here in Rochester NY (Quantum Loop) IS for sale, and SeaBreeze brass would be dancing in the streets if they got $800K for it. That thing is a piece of youknowwhat... I live a few miles from that park and it was NEVER running in the summer. I wouldn't give $800 for it, let alone $800,000...
80 days, 23 hours, 6 minutes till SFMM & KBF...
