Because of B: TDK, SFNE isn't on that list otherwise they would be on it. That's the only explanation I have for SFNE because you can't get more northeastern than SFNE.

TOP 5
1. Alpengeist, 2. Magnum XL-200, 3. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), 4. Volcano: The Blast Coaster, 5. Apollo's Chariot
Close Calls 1. Grizzly (PKD), 2. Batwing, 3. Montu
Chris Godsey,
Does it still hold true that Arrow hasn't sold another 4D?
Any new developments?

A CCI 200ft out and back would rock
Don't fool yourselves!! The 4D coasters are going to the parks that have been neglected in the past.. You see, six flags felt bad, and is now sending a whole bunch of cast to the parks..
PLaces like AstroWorld, Elitch Gardens, and Kentuky Kingdom. THAT'S where you'll be findin 4ds...

Texas Coasters... wow I'm lucky... IM me if you feel like talking about coasters.
We cant be for sure sfne won't get one. Sfne is one ot the smallest sixflags parks. Well just have to see in 2003, now won't we.But I would love for sfne to get one beacause i live in RI and thats only 1 hour away from Agawam.

If we are following the train of thought which says a park would not need to build a flyer and a 4-D, then that would immediately take SFA out of the running(Batwing)
If any 4D's are going to the northeast for next year, GRadv would be a safe bet. I am not gonna start the whole "flagship debate", but GRadv is definately one of the major parks in the chain, and they would be due for a coaster in 2003. If you look at the magnitude of the last 3 coasters(Chiller, Medusa, Nitro) something big is coming once again.

A Vekoma SLC would do Nebraska wonders! :-)

yea SFWOA has been planning a new ride for awhile i believe. one of these would be just perfect-----------------
Their still redesigning that hyper to suit the surrounders, trying to build that new hotel, planning more water slide, a 4D is nowhere in the picture.

I havent heard anything new from Arrow. I would assume that Since Gary Story said he wanted to wait to see how X ran we won't see any 4ds next season. It seems that most parks interested in it (including CP) want to see how the prototype runs before making a firm decision on it. As soon as I hear anything, I will let you know.

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!
if any park in the NorthEast will be recieving a 4D for the '03 Season its going to be the Great Escape. Once again the park has put a new coaster on hold, while they get the park ready what is said to be Great Escape's BIGGEST expansion ever...they have the land, they want to add more coasters and other rides to increase attendance, so id say if any NE park will get a 4D its going to be Great Escape.
I was guessing a B&M floorless as well but a Superman 4D would be great. They'd have to switch to the official Six Flags name though for the Superman theme, 4D or floorless. I don't know if they'd be willing/able to do it for 2003. Perhaps they'll just call it something else until then just like Vampire (Batman).
