Two 4D coasters coming to two northeastern parks?

I'm betting my money on SFGADv because it attracts more people then SFMM every year and I'm assuming that they will get a new coaster next year since they usually get one every other year. It is also my home park.
well, i can bet you that darien lake won't get one of these two supposed four d's going to the north east....six flags probably felt they were pushing thier budget by actually giving this park a worth while expansion this year...so i doubt a four d will end up here, unfortunately.

Does anybody think one might go to SFNE?

TOP 5
1. Alpengeist, 2. Magnum XL-200, 3. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), 4. Volcano: The Blast Coaster, 5. Apollo's Chariot
Close Calls 1. Grizzly (PKD), 2. Batwing, 3. Montu

No I dont think so cause Six Flags New England just got a new coaster this year. I think it will definately be Six Flags Great Adventure and I think it will be either Six Flags Darien Lake or Great Escape but my guess is Great Escape cause they are trying to get a major park attendance up and I find it weird that on X's opening day they talked about it on the news and said that the park is owned and operated by the same people who own Great Escape. So maybe, just maybe, Great Escape might be the hot spot for 03'

Oh just another longshot: Great Escape is rumored to be dismantling Stemin Demon and Drachen Fire is also geting dismantled. I know people think that Drachen Fire's getting recycled but maybe Great Escape is buying Drachen Fire. Or maybe im just wrong!

Drachen Fire is going to the same place as Windjammer for the final time. It is not a rumor but fact that DF will be sold for scrap.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Goliath's LIFT height is around 170-190 FT, not 150 FT because the station sits about 30 FT above ground. The maximum height which is used in determining a coaster's official height is measured from the tallest point on the ride to the bottom of that tallest point. That would measure 235 FT for Goliath. Some people...

Damn, dude, quit being such a "homer." Not everything revolves around SFMM.

Like Jeremy put it, I was referring to Goliath at SFH. Is there anyone here that thinks Goliath at SFMM *doesn't* look tall? If there's one thing that ride excels at, it's being tall.

Some people...

Great Escape + Six Flags Great Adventure...

I see that all that land clearing behind ghost town becoming X or something else and another coaster where Stemin Demon is...

I see Viper MIA with a 4D in its place

Great Escape gets "screwed for 2002"

Quantum and Delerium were also in First Drop Magazine, and danish_d did get the layouts right. Arrow has probably made the desicion to make the ride a fit size that is able to be made multiple times and mabye even be cloned.

I can't imagine a 4D with a tunnel, as Delerium apperently has. That would be great.

I think that any park that gets one of these should feel very lucky, they are awesome rides!

SFGAdv is very likely

The other park is a tossup, especially considering how broad of a term "NorthEast" really is. Other possibilities:
- SFA (I say it's in the NE cuz it's definately not in the SE)
- BGW?
- Kennywood?
- HersheyPark?

These are all stabs in the dark, really

a worth while expansion...lol...i could only wish. At least i dont feel that a new water ride and 2 pay rides is a worth while expansion.

cAN someone give me a link to see the pictures, please

I have a concept drawing of an indoor launched 4D. No joke. Wanna see em, e-mail me.

It's sponsored by AOL. ;)

Rumors are 99% total crap. I'm sorry, that's the truth. I wish there were 2 4ds coming to the Northeast, but it's not true.

Actually, what was 2001 new was that Six Flags did consult in buying two more 4D coasters. The rumor of where they are to go accounts for:

Six Flags Great Adventure

Six Flags America

Six Flags Darien Lake

Great Escape

Six Flags Great America

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

The writer did specify parks, but Noreastern United States was for the sake of simplicity.

Sorry CoasterGuy, but Six Flags America isn't in the northeast.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

Washington D.C. isnt in the Northeast! Anyways.. you guys shouldnt get your hopes up, not that I dont want this to happen but when nothing happens you guys will be all surprised!

I would say SFA is Northeastern! Even if it isn't, it's close enough. It's closer to the northeast than the southeast.

Isn't D.C. considered "Mid-Atlantic?"

IT doesn't matter wether you think Six Flags America is in the Northeast or not, it is still one of the parks specified.

Thank u Vertigo for clearing that up. That makes much more sense than arguing whether or not it is northeastern.
