I hope that the rumor is true.
Nothing more that I would love to see more 4D's.

92 feet small? Not really. The only thing that must be done to keep it as intense as a 292 foot tall ride is make every turn, twist, and flip in the track that much smaller. Tighter elements at slower speeds will produce the same forces as large elements at high speeds. If anyone thinks a coaster must be tall to be good, goto Big Chief's and take 2 rides on Cyclops. The lift isn't even 80 feet tall, but the ride is the sweetest thing since consentrated sugar (has that even been invented yet?)
Wasn't there a 4D shuttle that was in Amusment Today? I think I remember people talking about that. Anyone know that one's stats?

LMAO, TrBiggar...I can see people defending Goliath's 150ft height as not being small, but 92ft for a multi inversion steel coaster? It's small, no matter how you slice it.
Your example of Big Chief's coasters doesn't help you. Those coasters are also small.
I wasn't saying *anything* about quality of the ride. I was soley talking about how small it was. Please stop with the "it doesn't have to be tall to be good." We've all heard that hundreds of times.
I'll say it again, wow, 92ft tall for a 4-D is pretty small. Can't wait for someone to buy another one!

just a sort of guess, IF the rumor is true, a Northeast park that has a rep for "less intense" coasters, might have saved a little up from a less expensive investment this year on a REALLY fasmily-style coaster....hmm, a 4-D, sounds kinda "sweet", DOESN'T it? As for the impending naming contest...;)...I'm keeping mine a secret....
Now that would leave one other Northeast park, would it? How about one in the SF chain that has the gate necessary to afford one perhaps? Probably one of the more "intense" versions for this park than for the other one, though...and for THIS one's name, let's go with something "creative" and call it.....X!

SFWoA isn't Northeastern, but it and SFGAdv would be the parks that would probably get the 4Ds, or SFGAdv and SFGAm, like someone else said. (If the rumors are true, which they probably are not)

That site has BS rumors they said that GAdv was gettin a drop ride and a woodie but there are not. I dont trust there sources.-----------------
True, some of the rumors are, but a surprising number of them have turned into reality. Most all of them come from different submitters.
We post all of the rumors submitted... I knew from the beginning that the SFGAd woodie rumor was bogus, but bogus or not, all of them are included.
As for this rumor, I think that there is a chance that it may very well come true. At this point it's one of the stronger rumors out there.

Goliath's LIFT height is around 170-190 FT, not 150 FT because the station sits about 30 FT above ground. The maximum height which is used in determining a coaster's official height is measured from the tallest point on the ride to the bottom of that tallest point. That would measure 235 FT for Goliath. Some people...
