P.S. - that wasn't a train, it was just a shadow or something. Didn't look at all like a train.

As for speeding it up, i don't think they will have to because heavier trains go higher (newton 2nd law?)

By conservation of energy, the train will launch slower when it's heavier. Thus, it will travel less far up the tower.

True, but I imagine it'll launch the same speed regardless. I know I certainly wouldn't make a $20 million launcher without a feedback system keeping everything VERY closely in check. A heavier train will take more power, but I'd put money on it launching the exact same _speed_.

I feel bad that I didn't capture the image of the yellow lights about halfway down the tower lit, it looks like there aren't many posted like that yet.

I got the impression from the animated video posted here that there would be one light in the middle of each of the catwalks on the tower, but it looks like they mounted the christmas tree lights on the center and either side of each catwalk for a *really* nice dragster launch christmas tree effect.

Suddenly, Xcelerator doesn't seem quite as exciting ;)

By extra high headrests with lots of padding. And I believe WT has a faster take-off, not launch, but g's at take-off. TTD's is more spread out.

As for the lights, I would have rather have had just two, one on each side. Does any have an idea why they changed it.

I don't know guys. This ride looks fun and all but IMO, it doesn't look like it'll be that exciting the second time around. Guess it's just me...

I doubt it will be much different from other "one-trick" rides like drop towers. We all know exactly what is coming when we ride our favorite rides, and we don't get bored of those...I don't think this will be any different.
