TTD testing right Now

6 trains yea, but 5 of them and half of the track is for decoration, only 1 train op

Just a note about testing. I was in Sandusky today meeting a friend at Battery Park. I saw ttd launch about 5 or 6 times but of all those times i never saw it make a complete circuit. It got to about the twist on the launch side and then rolled back everytime I saw it. I wasn't really there to watch ttd just happned to catch it a few times. On a side note there were alot of people there in and out while I was there (about 4 hrs) and one guy had a camera with a large zoom and was taking pics

The full runs didn't start until a little before 6. I was down on the Jackson Street pier for a little while and had a pretty good view from there.

They did the same thing with Xcelerator while testing- lots of short shots. And even when Xcel is operating, it doesn't go *that* fast over the top hat- judging by the intensity the ride already has, it really doesn't need to!

So yeah, don't expect TTD to fly over the top hat, for that will create more - g's than any of us could imagine.. it would be insane

Fire 'em up boys. Just saw the lights on the tower turn dimmly on....also, Millennium's lights are on, at least they were at 0:00:08 on the Breaker's cam....:)

Yeah, when I got home last night, I cliocked on the webcam...(around 7pm EDT). I am pretty sure I caught a train on the very top....saved it to the laptop...;)

I know this is old news now, but it looks like they are going to be testing it everyday from here on out(which makes sense). They are running it again today and man is it sweet.

Ramona....the pic is saved on the laptop at home.....when I get there (around 5 pm, I'll e-mail it to ya). It is by no means a clear picture, but I compared it to a few others, and it DOES appear that the train is on the top hat...

Gator - I thought I saw a train at the top but it turned out I was seeing the walkway that's up there. Are you sure you're not mistaken?

nope, I'm not SURE, I'm *pretty sure*....that's why I used the word *appear*....it's quite far away, but it certainly LOOKS like a train....decide for yourself after 5 today...;)

I wonder how close that little piece of Iron Dragon is to the track. Will the swinging cars actually swing out over the TTD track? If so, that'd be cool.

I think it'll be very obvious if you caught one going over. That catwalk, however, really messes things up. Besides, with all the work going on in and around the station, I don't think they'd be running the ride with landscaping, painting, and carpenter crews all over the place. I think the best bet is to check after 5pm or so.

Bay Harbor is open all year long so I am surprised no one has gotten pictures from there. I am heading home this weekend, I go to OSU, I have to stop into human resources, and park op Saturday I will try and get some pics from there.

Now they just need to post a POV movie and I'll be a happy person.
