TOP THRILL Disappointment

I came out from California a few weeks ago and got 3 rides. I would have been happy with 1, and though I would have been very dissapointed if it wasn't open, I would still have had a good time at the park.

I consider myself VERY lucky that I went when I did (same time as Matt above) and got my 6 rides in 3 days. I was expecting MAYBE ONE ride during my visit.

I learned about coaster vacation problems with X. I planned my trip in Nov of 2001, hoping it would be open by then. A ride that was supposed to be open months earlier was testing over and over, and didn't end up opening to the public for another 2 months.

Dragster has been down for less than 2 weeks, and everyone is acting like it's the end of the world. If this was a Six Flags park, you would have already expected not to ride it and wouldn't be complaining.

I'M ABOUT TO BREAK
Very true kRaXLeRidAh, there are many other "top thrills" in the park other than TTD, true everyone is trying to be the one to say, "I rode such and such coaster/ride and it was great you need to try it", don't we all? I know that many of my friends were telling me about many rides, and I should try them. I know that there would be many chances to ride them, and I will someday. As steelraptorsays, and I agree, I will usually wait a few months while things are getting ironed out, and then go and I would enjoy my ride more, and the whole day at that.

The Mantis lagoon was lovely. I especially enjoyed the delectable stench permeated by the dead carp

You are not funny, clever, or witty. Please get the hell out of my thread.

They better get Dragster up within the next 4 months; that pesky CPO will snatch it right up from them.

I asked for my money back and all I got was a free tee-shirt.
You can do all the damn complaining you want, but it's not gonna fix the problem...
Obviously nothing can fix the problem

kraxleridah - Why did you have to bring Six Flags into this? That was completely STUPID! And the first part of your post didn't prove anything. It seems like that alls you do in threads. Bring Six Flags into it, even if the topic doesn't invlove it at all.

I agree to what Jaisen 15 said I won't go till they fix it. It is a dissapointment to have a great and new ride down more than it is up. I have to also agree with the guy who hit the queue line lady for Millinnium Force in 2001. He said, "God, you would think they could at least have the greatest coaster in the world operating right!' I think eighter they get it fixed or expect a drop in attendence this year. Nobody in town won't go till they fix it (doesn't say much due to our population). The park is just dull with just last years rides going and you have the tallest and fastest most unrealible coaster right there. I would just rather go to SFWoA. My brother and dad have rode it, it is the only reason to go none of the other rides compare to it so why go when you can't even ride it.

If there is any truth to the fact they tried to "rig" TTD, they did it because of the pressure put on them by people like some of you here.

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...

I don't think you should question the truth about them "rigging" it. We watched FOX interview the Public Relations manager Tuesday night and she said and I quote "the Cedar Point technicians attempted to fix the problem by using resources from another ride on Dragster...it, in fact, made the situation worse."
