Tomb Raider: The Ride - Proof of Giant Top Spin

Just an idea that popped up from the artist rendering.  Could it possibly be multiple topspins that 'duel' with each other?  That would be something we had never seen before.  Not likely, but just my .02

I'm hoping that it's an awesome simulator ride, with the motion of a topspin. Maybe because I just got back from seeing Final Fantasy, and the whole time, I was thinking about what an awesome simulator ride the movie would have been :)

A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.
What seens might take place in this ride?

How will we be going underground, stairs, elevator, sudden drop?

Will this ride live up to it's hype?

three very good questions.....

I myself am kind of disappointed that this would be their 30th aniversary ride.  I mean, its great if you are in to the spin n pukes, but for those of us who arent, it really sucks.  I'll ride a spin and puke, but ill take a coaster over one anyday.

Somedays it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.
The same can be said for people who dont like roller coaster...although i dont think there are any of those people here.

Well thanks to the No Coaster Con recap by Chitown we all now know that Tomb Raider: The Ride will be a "totally immersive dark ride adventure"!  They again stated it will NOT be a rollercoaster.  They also did not clarify any further on what the ride portion will be as they want that to remain as secret as possible.  It should be quite unique.  I cant wait.  Even if it turns out to be a flat ride in a box!  Which I have my doubts even with the parts in the parking lot.  There is no proof that those wont be for another addition to the park!  Or even part of the themeing elements to the ride.  I guess we shall see opening day.  Frankly I just might avoid reading about what the ride portion is like just so I can be surprised when it does open.

Nitro Rocks...enough said

I think this attraction MORE than fits the parks 30th birthday. With an attraction of this magnitude, I personally think it will become a VERY popular attraction and even surprise those that are skeptical to the ride being 'just a ride in a box'.

Remember.....

You can go ahead study every little detail about an attraction by looking at a rendering, picture, or even a blueprint, but you won't feel the ride experiance until it happens. Isn't the feeling of the attraction what it's all about?  If not, then by all means, please continue to try and ride your paper ideas.
