A Giant Wheel
Today's Holiblog about the announcement ends with
"And afterwards, please don't email me asking what's the deal with Mrs. Koch and cheese."
Wheel of cheese? I have no idea what that would be other than something worth laughing about tomorrow.

a couple kiddie or family rides, I think thats the nail on the head. Mindbender from SFOG are u kiddin me? Did I just make a pun? I mean if you are going to post a lie at least do it about a ride thats not still operating.
It was kinda a joke/dream of mine. Sorry if anyone took it seriously. Holidayworld is NOT getting Mindbender from SFOG. But good ideas start somewhere! *** Edited 11/29/2007 2:14:15 AM UTC by J7G3***
They looked at placing one where the fountain is, but the space was too tight.
According to the New for 2008 page on Holidayworld.com, the "Star Spangled Carousel" is going in the 4th of July section, and a new "Reindeer Games" (looks like a S&S Frog Hopper), is going in Rudolph's Reindeer Ranch.
And another welcome addition will be a tram for the Legend lot! (See the Press Release for more info)

Thanks. It was hard to tell from the picture. Looks like fun though.
My only questions are:
- Will the Carousel be housed/pavillion or open (from my question above)
- Who is building the Carousel or is it used
- Will the Carousel replace anything/where is it going in 4th of July?
- Where will reindeer Games be going
- will RG replace anything?
- Is anything thing else in the park changing in terms of rides?
My favorite comment: Mrs. Koch: "I don't care what you call it; I've got my ride!"
- DJ
"When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati because it's always twenty years behind the times." - Mark Twain
VERY happy that Pat is *finally* getting her Carousel. Have to chuckle a lttle though, I really wanted HW to get a replica of the (admittedly small) antique one located at Santa's Workshop on Pike's Peak. It was small enough to fit in the Christmas section - but probably too small for HW's needs.
