(the rest of) 2008 Holiday World Announcement...

From the November 08, 2007 HoliBlog...

"It will be shortly after Thanksgiving when we finally fill in the rest of the blanks here at the park. As you surely remember, Kima Bay be at the top of the list, but it's just the beginning of our plans for 2008."

....well it is ''shortly after Thanksgiving'' so I hope they spill the beans (or stuffing) soon...

Any ideas on the new plans...maybe some flats or something more....what does everyone think?

I have no idea what the rest of Project 08 will be, but I'd bet there's a good chance that the announcement will be Thurs. Just a hunch.
Any word on dates for 2008 Holiwood Nights? I am already making out my travel/vacation calendar for 08.

According to the clubs page on Holidayworld.com, it's May 23/24 next year.
Thanks for the information. I am already looking forward to it. Pizza and fudge yum!
I am not a big fudge person, but I love their pizza.

At home with the Rampage

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a blind link?
I believe it's a website that you can only get to if you have the address and type it in to your browser address bar - there's no link from the Holiday World website to the clubs page.

Jeff Young
That's correct. It's a "by invitation only" page on our website.

Aren't *you* special? :)

Now that we live in the PC world, shouldn't that be a "visually-impaired" link?

LOL, I know I'm "special" - I have proof!

I don't know about you guys, but Im really looking forward to what else is in the works for HW.

Gator...loved your Camden Picts. That park is really turning around, isn't it?

The park definitely needs some flats. Disko or frisbee anyone?

The legend continues
I would like to see a dark ride for the Halloween area.

^I just can't see that happening because of the fairly new Gobbler Getaway. But since HW has been adding a lot of "doubles" lately, it could be a possibility.

I still think it will be a Mayflower themed Swinging Ship..............

Word on the street is the bumper boat pavillion is gone. Perhaps whatever is new will go in that spot?
What street would that be, Moosh? ;)
I definately would like to find this "street" that Mamoosh travels on. He knew about IB way before anyone else, or did he?

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.

Moosh knows a lot. Thats why he's my friend.

Anyway, I've heard similar things about the Thunder Bumpers.

Personally, I think it would be a nice place for a KMG Afterburner or something like that, or a Giant Wheel, as long as they don't get rid of the Doll Display building behind it.

And speaking of older Holiday World rides, Amusements of America, the company that bought their Pinfari Coaster, the Firecracker, which was once the Cyclone at Geauga Lake, has recently sold it.
