Just a little longer and we get to find out what the new goodie will be!!!!
Attendance has nearly tripled – to 855,000 a year ago – at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Ind., since 1993, when the family owned park opened Splashin’ Safari.“It’s the best business decision we ever made,” said Will Koch, president of Holiday World. “It’s exceeded any expectations we had.”
The park in southern Indiana is doubling the size of the water area over next five years. This year it added a new wave pool and next year a raging river. It also offers everyone free sunscreen.
Past additions include a funnel slide and a giant enclosed slide.
“We have taken to putting in these monstrous water slides and attractions that look good on a TV ad and have that roller coaster marquee value,” Koch said.

I am sorry Incidentalist, I should have shut up when the shuttin up was a good idea, can I be forgiven?
We're cool, don't worry about it anymore.
I will agree with you that the last thing that HW needs is a T.O.W. missile. But it would be quite the spectacle to remove an old ride by blowing it up with some military hardware. It's the T.O.W. vs. the Tilt O Whirl, which one will win? My money is on the one that is packed with explosives!
"Forget the old "shoot-em-up" galleries at theme parks...now introducing the missile range! Launch high-explosive missiles at your targets and try to destroy them for massive points and big prizes!
(Hummer not included)"
I can see it now... Paula, add this to a Memorial Day section of the park ;)
Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

I'm also betting on a steel supported woodie, long with a steep drop, lots of airtime and laterals, a nice long tunnel and speeds through the woods.
Move or build a new Tilt-a-whirl into the new section, and a carousel.
I'm still betting on Valentine's Day for the theme.
