Eastgiving?
Thankster?
nah ;)
What a great way to start my day!
OK...here's my guess for tomorrow's announcement. Let me reiterate for those who are playing that these are purely guesses...I have absolutely zero inside info on any of this.
--NEW HOLIDAY--
In the Holiblog Paula promised it would be one of the following: April Fools, Arbor Day, Easter, Groundhog, Mother’s Day, New Year’s, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Valentine’s Day.
I've narrowed it down to Easter, Valentine's Day, and Thanksgiving, and of those two I think Easter and Thanksgiving are the strongest candidates. I'll go with Easter based on the fact that kids would be able to meet both Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny on the same day. Although Paula did say she was "voting against Thanksgiving" and that might have been a clue that the choice had been made and that it actually *is* Thanksgiving.
UGH...I'll stick with Easter [and will probably be sorry].
--HOLIDAY WORLD ADDITIONS/CHANGES--
1. Tilt-o-Whirl removed for walkway; new themed Tilt from Sellner added to the new area.
2. Carousel in new area. High hopes for a brass ring pull but I put odds of that happening at 1-100.
3. Possibly one more flat [tea-cups shaped like eggs, anyone?] a third water ride [a shoot-the-chutes]; very slim chance of a standard or spinning mouse.
4. Standard amenities in new area as well: bathrooms, eatery, gift shop, games/arcade, designated smoking area, and Pepsi Oasis.
5. Wooden coaster, most likely by Gravity Group. I know there has been talk of the park setting records including "longest woodie" but I don't think that's gonna happen. I do think they'll take the "steepest drop in the US" record with a 66* drop. I think the coaster will be steel supported [I'm slowly accepting that one...LOL!]. And I think it'll clock in somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 feet long...long enough to run three trains but NOT long enough to take the record from Beast.
--SPLASHIN SAFARI ADDITIONS/CHANGES--
1. Renovated locker, bathroom, and changing facilities to accommodate larger crowds.
2. Aforementioned cosmetic changes to Bamboo Chutes. I don't think the slide will be rerouted but rather a "splash guard" will be added under the parts of the slide that go over the new walkway so that guests walking to the new area do not get splashed.
3. One new attraction...no clue what it might be unless the "raging river" comment in the article linked on one of the other pages is correct.
...and there you have it!

:)
i'm not sure what to put here..
My guess, Thanksgiving,
Swinging ship called Mayflower Possibly PKI's as there is rumor of a PKI attraction being removed. Still one of the worlds largest swinging ships with. Viking Fury is almost a non existant ride in PKI's lineup and it's location don't help either.
Wild Turkey Highbred wood on steel TGG coaster L shaped with running Paralel with SS. A Carousell or darkride. The darkride could be called a turkey shoot.
Replaced Selner Tilt, What it will be named is still a mystery to me.
SS, Another lazy river, A modification to Bamboo Chutes and probably one new slide of some type. A toilet bowl or something.
I really could care less how wrong I am. I know Im right on some of it but the suspence is killing me.
All I know birds told me to expect something outside the box for a wooden coaster. It's been done before but what they are doing is insane. Im guessing more like a 80* drop or 84* drop hence the 84 mention.
Three trains are UNREALISTIC for HW at least for the near future and the fact the crowd will be even more diversified now with the new sections and other additions.
Thats right,
Chuck, saying 84* drop on a wooden coaster, Hows that for thinking outside the box?
Brian
In an effort to attract a more "international" crowd, the new area will be themed for Boxing Day.
All the previous hints have been bluffs.

I've been on summer vacation for two months.
(Woodie, Carousel, Toilet Bowl, Turkey Day)
For those still counting my previous post about the tick-tocks....you only have about 8000 more to go!
12 hours 20 minutes to go!
