The rare coasters on your track record???

Ahhhh, cmiesen, finally another person who has ridden Regina!

I should add Delphis, at Festivalgate in Osaka, Japan. A super smooth mall-top coaster. Monster Mouse at the Puyallup fair is pretty tough to find around as well.

I will never get 1000 rides on Shivering Timbers like Kara, so that is a rarity I envy.

Rolling Thunder

American Eagle Backwards with no trims

Deja Vu SFGAm pre- valley platform

SFGAm B:TR on its first ride with people of its tenth season! What a way to celebrate ten years of the inverted coaster!

I've only been on two now defunct coasters, if I'm correct:

Corkscrew at Geauga Lake
Steel Phantom at Kennywood

Neither of those are particularly rare, though.

Incredible Hulk @ IoA

Just wondering why you consider this a rare coaster when 661 CoasterBuzzers (not including those who have ridden it as non-members who can't update their record) have ridden it.

Go Gamecocks!!

Rolling Thunder @ SFGAm

Deja Vu Count = 27
SFGAm CoasterWorld

Sky Princess, Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA...I guess that counts since only 76 members count it.

I'm at rutgers! But I never went there! Check it out! http://rutgers-newark.rutgers.edu/ I'm all the way to the left, I wear glasses.

I've got Sky Streek [Boblo] which isn't really defunct, but it's at a park that I know of one person who has been to.

It's now at Selva Magica as... Titan?

Heck, I've also got Pteranodon Flyers @ IoA, which I suppose is a hard credit.

How about V2 at SFMW before being changed into the coaster it is now? Thats rare.

Also Flashback (ouch) at SFMM.

Soap box derby racers @knotts

Revolution before they changed it @ sfmm

Rollercoaster @puyallup fair(name escapes me at the moment)

Comet- Waldameer Park

Wacky Soap Box Racers- Knott's

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

Hmm, the only one I've ridden that's obscure is the Endicott Emerald Mine Train, at Wild Adventures, which is a part of the Wheels Inn, in Chatham, Ontario.
Well, these might not be the rarest of coasters, but they are the best that I have:

Corkscrew - Knotts Berry Farm
Soap Box Derby Racers - Knotts Berry Farm
Windjammer - Knotts Berry Farm
Desert Storm - Castles & Coasters (Phoenix, AZ)
Patriot - Castles & Coasters (Phoenix, AZ)
Desperado - Buffalo Bill's Casino (Primm, NV) (not really rare I guess)
Giant Dipper - Belmont Park (San Diego, CA)
Shockwave - Magic Mountain (barely made the height requirement, and barely remember it)

Well, that is the best that I can do.......

Defunct; Steel Phantom

Re-located; rolling thunder, at SFGAm.

If we're talking about 'rare" coasters, I would think that coasters that are still operating, but are one-of-kind or close, would count, not just the "defunct or hard to get to" specified at the very begining of this thread. That being said, I think the last Schwartkopf Speedracer in North America, The Whizzer at SFGAm, would count as much as it's now defunct sister in California.

It's rare because it's one of the only B&M coasters that come to mind that are launched. I don't see how you could have missed that one.

You clearly missed the entire point of the thread. The point was... which coasters have you ridden that not many others have ridden, not which ones you've ridden are UNIQUE. Just take a look at what other people are listing in their threads. Why do you imagine MOST of them are defunct now? (i.e. mini mine train at SFoG).

Go Gamecocks!!

the only unique one i can think of is the little dipper or the big dipper, cant remember what it was called, by allan herschell that was at martins fantasy island in the 80s, it was a family/kiddie coaster, this was also the first coaster i ever rode

Cyclone Racer at the Pike in Long Beach. Now is that giving my age away or what?!?!?!?

Also, Lightning Bolt (indoor version) at MGM Grand Adventures in Las Vegas.

All of the coasters at Opryland (defunct): Chaos, Hangman, Little Rock-n-roller coaster, Rock-N-Roller Coaster, Screamin' Delta Demon, and Wabash Cannonball.

Ditto for me. Plus the Rock-N-Roller Coaster when it was named the Timber Topper.

Also Starliner (MSAP), King Cobra (PKI).

I never rode it, but does anyone know what the name of the coaster at Fair Park in Nashville was? Fair Park closed in the late 70's but the coaster stood there for a little while.
