All Defunct:
Dorney Park: Flying Dutchman
Busch Gardens: The Old Country (as it was called at the time): Glissade & Wildkatz
Great Adventure (Pre Six Flags Days): AlpenBlitz & Big Fury
Ocean City MD: Wild Mouse (Trimpers) & Jumbo Jet (Ocean City Pier)
Hersheypark: Toboggan (one of the two operating in the 1970's)
Only other Defunct coaster I have ridden is Steel Phantom and I hardly consider that rare considering how many people on this site have ridden it.
-----------------
Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"
SBNO or Defunct:
Viper (RIP)--SFOG [last ride]
Rampage & Marvel Mania--VisionLand
Steel Phantom--Kennywood
Other Amusements: the World of Sid & Marty Kroft was located in the space now occupied by CNN studios. They had the Crystal Carousel (with translucent plastic figures), a pinball ride and the Adventures of H.R. Puffenstuff (a dark ride)

Long live Six Flags Astroworld!! Ok, you can all laugh now...
Start your own thread then and call it "Unique coasters on your track record, and why" and then maybe people will respond to it. You just took something out of context and when I innocently called you on it, you ran with it declaring some personal vendetta. Nobody's fining you for doing something wrong. This is supposed to be fun. I vow to you I don't worry myself one iota about what a person on a message board thinks. Especially one who's handle is that of a misspelled defunct coaster's name.
Be well, John Spartan.

It's now college football season. The only thing that makes coasters take a back seat. This also means Rollergator is the enemy again... for 4 months.

Drachenfyre, could you give the guy a break? We took "rare" to mean one thing, the originator of this thread took it to mean something else. We assumed that we could use "rare" in any of it's definitons, whether that's how it was originally meant to be or not. Homey G. thought that this was either discouteous, or proving that we didn't understand the original message, so he decided to try and set us straight. What's wrong with that? If I do make a mistake, I want it to be pointed out. In this case I didn't so much make a mistake as willfully defy a "rule," but, hey, it wasn't personal. He's just trying keep this thread on track.
For the record, I think that in the original post, there should have been more emphasis on the fact that "rare" was only to be used in the context of what other people had ridden, but that's just an opinoin.
(SF) Great American thanks for understanding what my intent was. I guess when you're young you take everything personally. I like this thread and am interested in what others have ridden. However, the rebel speller needs to understand that one of the quickest ways for a thread to be closed is to veer too far off topic.

Go Gamecocks!!
It was rolling thunder, and badly designed. used to ram into the turn guides, because it would run to fast and be to high going ito turns. check rcdb.com, if i recall correct it been moved 2 times and is still operating.

The bobsled coaster that was once at SFGAm...the name escapes me? I only remember a few details of it, but I remember it was fun!-----------------

Check out Indiana Beach Online!
turn was before my time on coasters, but I thought that the demon was not much more than a rethemeing of turn of the century. I thought the corkscrew was the reason for the name originally.

Have we all forgotten the Turn-of-the-Century, Marriott's Great America?(Illinois for me) Those sweet, evil, vicious bunny hills now lost to the Demon's loops.
Sky Streak, Boblo Island (ride moved, park defunct). My first real roller coaster, may have been my last if not for some prodding five years later.
Chicago Loop, Old Chicago (moved, defunct.)
Soap Box Derby Racers(defunct), Knott's. Anybody ride it with the motorcycles? I didn't. 8^(
(The orginal) Corkscrew, Knott's and at its new home Silverwood.
Speaking of Silverwood, Tremors and Griz..er..Timber Terror, though I don't think they fit the catagory....why am I typing them then?
Screamin' Demon, Kings Island.
And last, least? Steel Phantom, Kennywood. The nerve that park has, remaking a ride that will make you say 'Steel what?' Ahhhh sweet Revenge.
Kick down, Chris, kick down...
How was it?

Hmmmm, it doesn't look like a missle silo until you're inside. Walk north from Birdmen like you're heading towards their flume, turn right like you're heading to the giant wheel and it's the first thing you pass. Do you know what I'm talking about? (Sorry it's so hard to describe....I wish I knew it's name!)
