I like GOOD clones. Let's say Patriot IS a clone (which despite it's similarities to Talon, is not). Why would anyone moan about it then? Many people love Talon. That's why getting a clone of it would be nice.
Same goes for B:TR. That is one intense coaster. They could clone the hell out of that and I would not be disappointed. It's a good, solid, ride. Who cares if it's Six Flags, Cedar Fair or Paramount.
Those who bash SF no matter what and those that praise CF no matter what.
I won't deny that there a broad general groups like that that exist, but the crossover between the two is very thin.
Essentially, no one has found even one person on this site that bashed SF for the cloning of the name/theme of Goliath and then in turn said Patriot looks good because it's a near clone of Talon.
Nice try, fanboys. Time to get over it. Don't fall into BatwingSFA territory, people just ignore you at that point. :)
I mention in a non negitive tone how CF made a similar layout to Talon and people want to get upset. Yet sit back and act like they heard not one thing negitive about SFOG Goliath. If that's the dream world you want to live in go ahead I could careless, But regarless if your in your dream world or the real world I'm still allowed to have an opinion.
;)

What are you talking about your making this more of a bigger deal then it is. For one I'm no fanboy of any park nor site that seams to be more your territory. I am also not going to play pet detective for you to find names of SF bashers and CF lovers so get over yourself. You and they know who they are and that's where I'm leaving it, pointing people out and pointing fingers is just childish and unnecessary. I was just speaking in general anyways, your the one that is taking it over the top.I mention in a non negitive tone how CF made a similar layout to Talon and people want to get upset. Or in other words, I have nothing. Let me try to turn it around and back out of it.
Your original accusations simply aren't true.
Suddenly, the two people who feel strongly enough about a perceived double standard to jump into an otherwise positive thread and point out how hypocritical people around here are can't be bothered to point out the same thing in detail that tried to point out in the first place.
Maybe if you keep saying it, it will eventually become true.
So now that that's all cleared up, let's get to talking about how great a near Talon clone will be and about how thankful we are that they didn't name it Goliath.
As far as Goliath, I'm very happy that South is rising up....and this time there's no Rebel Flags! :)
This ride looks like it's going to carry some serious punch.
As for the ride itself it's looking to be a sweet addition for WOF,everything from the theme to the paint job & overall layout of this ride make it a winner for sure....as is I'd like to see a recreation of this beast in RCT3 .

If you are feeling disappointed by the layout, look at the stats and realize that it is only ONE FOOT away from being the 3rd tallest inverted coaster.
Well, you need to work for their marketing division. Patriot doesn't even crack the top ten there buddy!
Fate is the path of least resistance.
195' - Alpie
155' - Volcano
150' - Montu
149' - Patriot
Meanwhile, the last coaster to actually scare me is still less than 80 feet tall.
It's what happens after you climb the 4th tallest full-circuit inverted lift hill in America (or perhaps 19th tallest ON THE PLANET?) that actually matters.

We saw B&M reps there in Late July - Early August and then again during Halloweekends. There were surveyors there about the same time last year. The reps were there again in April as was Decker and Kinzel. Massiver outbreak of flags began in May and then the rest is history

I'm sorry I forgot there were other countries in the world, my bad. Also I was not including invertigos or impulses. As stands with the NEW parameters.
