OK... iPad should render with a little margin space now on the sides. It should also render a plain text box in the forums, even if you have your preference to not force it plain.

Whatever has happened to CoasterBuzz?

Looks a thousand times better on the iPad now. Thank you.

iPad users are now 4% of traffic. That's pretty surprising.

I have a question: Is the "Jump to newest post" button gone now? I used the hell out of that button. I think this was the only forum I've ever seen that feature and thought it was pretty awesome.

Just curious.

Looks sexy, Jeff. I dig the font. Very clean. Excellent.

Rob W.: You can click the blue "new post" icon from the list of topics or the recent topics to jump to the newest post. I ended up ditching it from the thread view itself because a) heat maps indicated (almost) no one used it, and b) it made view tracking more complicated than I liked.

Looks great on the iPad now! I still haven't looked at it from a real computer since the relaunch.

I'm surprised that the iPad only accounts for 4% of traffic. Since I got my iPad I find that I make shorter, more frequent visits where I'll just sort of pop in and see what's new. Of course, coaster nuts tend to be a mobile bunch. Putting aside the fact that phone keyboards universally suck, how is the iOS traffic? Or just mobile in general?

Well, you found an error where I wasn't serving up the right quote format. Ugh... what a mess. This is what I get for not testing thoroughly. If I delivered this kind of work in my day job, I'd fire myself. :)

Overall, I really like the new web page.

One minor thing, at the home page, I find it annoying that the screen automatically scrolls up over the picture with no obvious way to disable it. Again, that is minor, and the rest looks great.

Mmmmmm, Daddy likes!! A lot!!!

You can slide it back down with the little arrow things on the left. That's supposed to be obvious and invite you to interact with the page, but of course that's mostly theory. You're proving me wrong. The idea was that I wanted to show you a big photo, but I also want you to scroll down and see what's up. Does that make sense?

Sweet, the button alerted me to Delan's post. I love that feature.

I really like the new look.

This is minor, but just as I am about to click on something on the home page the scoll moves the page. Again, very minor. Maybe I should just slow down.

1st - Thanks for the heads up on the scroll on the home page. I missed that. I thought it was weird that the photo was covered up :)

2nd - I love that new forum search parameters have been added. I look forward to utilizing the different aspects of that in the future.

3rd - I was shocked to see I was in the top 10 in the scoring game. I'm curious how it works. It doesn't seem to be post driven. Is it mostly photo and news contribution?

The only back-dated data I have for the scoring game was on news contributions, so if you did that, you've got points. Going forward, contributing anything that's accepted will get you points (news, photos, coasters/parks). Running a special on photos at 25 points each, which is why a particular member here only a month or so is in the top list.

You can see the last 25 or so point awards you have in your profile, as well as awards that came out of it. There might be a few dupe awards on some profiles, but I'll get those cleaned up eventually.

I feel like there's a bit too much padding between the various text elements in the forums (vertical spacing in particular) and/or that the fonts are a little too big. For example, I can fit at absolute most, three one-line comments on my screen at a time, and I feel like a lot of the space is lost to... just being space for space's sake. I'm on a widescreen gaming laptop, so I know my display (1366x768) is on the smaller end of the spectrum in terms of vertical real estate, but the point remains. In general, the site feels much better to me (though there's still a little much vertical padding IMO) if I tap "zoom out" in chrome once and -25% zoom everything.

Just my initial impressions, thought I'd share. I do really dig the new main page and overall blockier, cleaner look to things

Not a big deal. But personally, I liked it better when I didn't have to click reply and then scroll down again to get to the text box. It seems like an unnecessary step.

Also, I just noticed that when I clicked the blue icon to jump to the newest post, the top banner was cutting off the top of the new post. IE9 Windows Vista
