Gotcha, Koaster King. I hope you have a blast when you go there. I can't wait to see your trip report. If you have only riden Magnum recently, and have never had a night ride, you haven't had the "full" experience of Magnum. I find night rides 10Xs more thrilling, and and I can't wait to see how this winter's train rehabs helped.

I'm really sorry Peabody and others if you thought that. I guess I did kind of mislead you all in my thinking and telling. So, for me, Superman:Ride of Steel(SFNE) and Busch Gardens Williamsburg are my favorite coaster and park NOT the best. And just because Magnum is like my #10 or something doesn't make it any less appealing. I'm dying for the night ride. I think it will help push it up the list. Those who truly love this ride with passion, more power to you. Who wants to be negative about coasters anyway. It's not your fault you think like that. ;)

Valleyfan! I would say the biggest difference is color. Besides that, not much. Wild Thing has damn ugly trains though.

The other CF hypers are all world class rides, but are of a different make than Mangum. They give a different kind of ride. The biggest difference is in the turnarounds. Check out
www.coastergallery.com to see pics of some. Mamba has a nice turnaround, but none have matched the ferocity of Magnum. Many of the Morgans have been squashed by hard braking on the mid course runs. Magnum is still only lightly trimmed. But when they turn off those trims, OH BOY! I will never forget the night time ERTs with no trims!

Magnum was my first hyper. After 9 others, I still prefer it over most. That doesn't mean that it's "best", there is no such thing. But, I really like it.

I never said I was going to decide for him. I was just saying not to say Pepsi is better when you've never tried Coke, Sprite, or Mountain Dew. Right? Or is Coke better just because you know it will be and nothing can change that? Just opening up the possibilities. I'm not trying to force anything on anyone. It's my opinion and if you don't agree or if it plainly bothers you, don't respond. It was just a suggestion and friendly reminder that Magnum isn't the only hyper out there. Or is it? LOL ;) I'm proud to say I prefer it over none(hypers), but I prefer it over a lot at the same time(boomerangs, SLCs, Mean Streak, Windjammer, ;)). It's a fun classic coaster.

Man, I'm getting dizzy guys, slow down lol! I have never ridden Magnum, but plan to in about 4 weeks. What's the best seat? And how long are the lines for it during the week in June? I'm more excited about Magnum than I am MF.

Don't be more excited about Magnum! It's for your own good. I was too and I was disappointed. That's just my experience. Do with it what you will.
Usually weekday lines are 30-45 minutes and can actually get up to 1 hr. 1/2 on "bad" days. The ejector seat is the best(I forget which one, 3rd seat?). Make sure to get a nighttime ride. Have fun!

You need to actually read my post. Please read it in its entirety, then let's review. I'll wait....

would be tough to understand the backdrop against which Magnum was conceived. The point still stands, even if perhaps you were
almost ready for kindergarten when Magnum debuted :)

You obviously have never, ever been on WT. I'd be surprised to hear you'd been on any Morgan hyper without noting some major differences in design. The only element that Maggie and WT have in common is the first drop--that's it. But I've already discussed this before, so here's the link...

I've ridden WT several times on AGRCTV2. You can't tell me that the overall feel is similar to Magnum. A couple big hills, a turnaround, and some bunny hops. Steel Force(which I've ridden) is very similar and by what I've seen, Mamba looks similar too. I was saying your post was ignorant(which is still true by your definition), because you:
1)Assumed I didn't like Magnum and had a grudge against it
2)You though you knew me for some reason
3)You mentioned failure on one's part to have any extent of knowlege better than someone older than I
4)You called me KoasterKiddie which is rude/you wouldn't be too happy with CoastaGeasa, eh?
5)You assumed I was trying to get people to stop riding it
6)Lastly, and mostly, you didn't respect my opinion and you assume I(teenagers overall by how you worded the MTV thing) need all of this flashy up-to-the-minute technology to be satisfied
The last one is the worst, especially when my favorite rides and parks aren't the biggest or flashiest(BGW, HW, PKI-SROS, Beast, Shivering Timbers). You made an age group bias which is completely unfair and often completely false.
